The Layout's orientation, Color setting from Pro should override the default printer setting by default. Why is that such a scandal? it would be nice if I didn't have to look this problem up.

as a work around, Running the notebook in Jupyter notebooks (not Jupyter Lab) the Mapview displays properly. There does seem to be a mapview.jupyter_target variable that's listed on the arcgis.widgets module api reference that is read_only. though it can be set to "lab" or other string if you force it. But that doesn't seem to help anything. Also prior to setting it as I show below, reading the data produces an empty string. I don't understand if this variable is just not set, but it also seems like it should be set based on the IDE you're using. Is that the disconnect here? This seems like the problem variable but again how to reset a read_only variable is elusive to me right now.

I have had the same experience of restarting Pro and "fixing" the issue.

For me, our organization switched to a different web security provider not because of this issue, but for other reasons. So I haven’t experienced the problem since then. I reckon if you’re dealing with the uncontrolled zoom out it hasn’t been fixed; but I haven’t seen anything in particular to confirm or deny a fix.

At some point during my use of ArcGIS Pro 2.3, I confront with this image. It comes when I have tried to open a data table from a feature class that's in my project. My feature classes link to a SQL Server table that's immutable. Anyway, is the issue that my data linkages are unindexed? The ole' turning it back off and back on again (restarting ArcGIS pro) seems to fix the issue at least temporarily.

I would just like to confirm that I am also using Webroot. It's an intermittent issue. I can't pinpoint the action or set of actions that I engage in that cause the behavior. but I am interested in this Webroot bug as an explanation, and of course resolution.

This is typical of the error message that I get trying to open the Atttribute Table for my joined parcels data in Pro. and additionally if I import a map document from an .mxd the join seems to import too. However too many changes or manipulations to the attribute table in pro gives the above message. Prior to this message I had re-arranged a few fields that I am interested in within the attribute table fields view.

Running Pro 2.1.0 and Microsoft SQL Server 12.0.5203.0. Wishing to join on a field between SQL and Parcels' layer. The particular table that I am joining to in SQL Server is a View of another table, but in ArcGIS it shows up as a table. Anyway Join eventually fails, though this behavior works properly in ArcGIS Desktop.

I have just reverted to 2.1.0, and the issue seemed to be resolved, or at least I could avoid it. I didn't do anything specific, and I would say that this issue was at 2.0. Next time I will note it more carefully.
