When setting up for branch versioning do you generally recommend using headless admin accounts for the both the RDBMS and portal sides? The documentation seems to indicate that all access control rest in the Portal side.

Hello @HéctorMeléndez , If you are sharing your items as a copy once you restore portal (guest) to T1 and sync, any changes will be pushed to the hosted feature service in ArcGIS Online (host). The sync process will then add, remove or update records as necessary in the ArcGIS Online (host) hosted feature service to match the portal (guest) hosted feature service. Any items that were shared from portal (guest) to ArcGIS Online (host) but are not present in the portal collaboration group at the time of the syncing will be removed from ArcGIS Online. This same logic applies when sharing from ArcGIS Online to portal. If you are concerned about items getting removed you may want to re-share any missing items to the collaboration groups in portal and ArcGIS Online before syncing. Thanks! Thomas

Hi. Hector, I am encountering a similar issue. I select a new private IP. and in the next screen for the certificate options, self-signed certificate option is gray out. Please see below. I cannot go to the next step.

Does anyone know the bug number for this? I have a support case open with ESRI Australia regarding this particular issue and we are just getting absolutely nowhere. It would be good if i could go back to them and say well actually it's been identified as a bug in 10.7.1 - can you confirm this is fixed in 10.8.

Héctor Meléndez With our site, we found we needed to drop the problem portal Item from the source Portal before export to be able to restore successfully to the DR environment and then manually re-publish in both. The next time we did an export/import, the process completed.

Hello Héctor Meléndez‌, When deploying any of the server roles using the ArcGIS Enterprise Cloud Builder for Microsoft Azure the important selection based on the behavior you are describing is whether you leave 'Single machine deployment' selected when launching the stack. During my testing this was the determining factor in whether the additional file server machine was deployed as part of the site and is intended to allowing horizontal scaling in the future. Selecting that option (or leaving checked by default) only deployed a single image server machine with the files stored locally on that machine. In regards to the configuration store being located in Azure Files, that does not include the root directories since they require more immediate access and are typically located on either the local machine or a file server to avoid any additional latency.
