Found the issue Turns out the inputService parameter has to be in a list, even though it was only 1 map service.... ESRI can you please update the reference on this page https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/tool-reference/server/manage-map-server-cache-tiles.htm#GUID-3C03865B-B5DD-428E-9FFA-9582CFF625EC Peter

Hi Michael No it is not. Here is my inputServer variable service = r"C:\Users\gistaskscheduler\AppData\Roaming\Esri\Desktop10.7\ArcCatalog\arcgis on spar01 (publisher)\GXInternalMaps\GXBasemapCache_ArcGISPro.MapServer" I used the example found here https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/tool-reference/server/create-map-server-cache.htm I noticed that it does not inlcued the '.ags' file extension. Also do you think it matters if the server connection was created in ArcMap as opposed to ArcGIS Pro? Cheers Peter

Hi I have a python script which is used to determines areas of a tile cache that need to be updated. I am having issues with ManageMapServerCacheTiles accepting my server connection. I have saved the username and password to the connection file and set the type as 'publisher'. I have overwritten the map service with the same connection credentials, but i am still getting an error 'ERROR 001265: Admin or publisher connection required. Failed to execute (ManageMapServerCacheTiles).' Dont know what else to try

Hi everybody After updating ArcGIS Pro from 2.6 to 2.6.2, my Jupyeter Notebook cannot import an installed package (pyodbc). I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling. The package works and is accessible if i run a script in the cloned idle. I have uninstalled pro and reinstalled 2.6 and my notebook is working. Really annoying that patches cause more issues.

Thanks for the write up, managed to get this working in one of my scripts. I have a web map that contains a feature layer that is getting updated each day (daily cumulative counts). Now i use the data in the feature layer to generate new class max values so that the symbology keeps up to date with the layer.

The error is caused because pro is expecting a domain value, you can solve this problem by setting a default value for field or make the field nullable. If a field uses a subtype the you need to set a default value for all subtypes or make them nullable Hope this helps

Hi Alexander, Looks like I am also having a similar issue. I am trying to publish a referenced web layer to my portal from arcgis pro, and some of the formating is dropped. ArcGIS Pro Portal I have been successful publishing from ArcGIS pro to ArcGIS Server (as a map service, no portal is installed on that server), so i wonder if this is a bug in Portal/ArcGIS online? Peter
