I agree with Steve. Being able to simply hit enter on the keyboard is great user experience, it's intuitive!

Yeah, so the expressions are pretty simple ones right now, just to expose some grouped fields based on the answer provided in a previous field. An example would be I'm able to reuse these expressions because the collection layers in the map are views of the same master feature layer and have the same field names. The views are based on what team initiated the data collection and have different templates preset/required fields to match those scenarios but the exposing of certain grouped fields is consistent across the views.

I'm setting up 'Conditional Visibility' expressions and have some written that will be applied to fields on multiple layers. Currently, under 'Existing', we are able to see and select from the expressions we've already applied to fields within that collection layer but if an expression is applied to a field on another layer it's not visible under 'Existing' in the same way, even though it's within the same map. It would save time and effort to be able to input an expression on one field on one layer and have it visible as an option under 'Existing' for all of the collection layers in the map.

Our existing program uses Collector Classic where it is still possible to see GPS without using Tracker. This GPS data is very important to our field crew workflow and they have become dependent on knowing where other team members are at any given moment. We are trying to modernize our program by moving to Field Maps and were hoping to use the Tracker layers in a similar way we used GPS in Collector Classic. While most patrols are performed within cell service large portions of our system do lay outside of this strong cell service. For these patrols, having the ability to go offline would be very useful, even if the Tracker layer wasn’t maintained while offline. As it stands it sounds like these maps will be completely unable to go offline AND keep the Tracker layers because they can't be taken offline by design, potentially necessitating the creation of additional maps for solely offline purposes which isn’t a lean procedure. Ideally, if a map contains layers that do not have Sync Enabled we would still be able to take maps offline with the supported layers, perhaps with a warning that only compatible layers will be included.

Looking forward to when we can bring contingent values over from Pro, until then I'll look into the sub-type work flow you suggest. Thanks for the speedy reply!

I have a dataset being used where a crew member will determine an Observation Code based on the conditions they're seeing in the field. Once they've selected the Observation Code they have to select a 'Recommended Follow Up Action' in a separate field. Currently, they have to select from the entire list of possible 'Recommended Follow Up' values that are in the Domain but ideally I'd like only the choices relevant to the selected Observation Code to be shown. Is this possible? I've set something similar up for this in S123 but we're migrating the whole process to Field Maps. @AaronPulver The expressions you shared in another thread in response to user Valven were really helpful for me, would you have any ideas? Thanks for any and all suggestions!

A map series that allows us to iterate through the attachment IDs for each feature and outputs a map for each photo attachment. Ex. Some features would only generate one map within the series because only one photo is attached to that feature whereas other features would generate 5 or 6 maps, one for each photo attached to the feature. Use case: When field crews make an observation they attach multiple photos to each observation (feature). These photos are used by other teams to make decisions and should be large on the page and high quality. Being able to create a pdf page per photo attachment attached to the same feature would allow for quick dissemination of information when printed maps are necessary.

Hi Tom, yes that helps. I was hoping for something out of the box but I guess we'll have to configure something more custom... I feel like we can't possibly be the only users who collect multiple attachments for observation type data that need to be sent out as reports, has there ever been discussion on making a UI solution? Thanks, Sasha

Data Background: I have a field collected (Collector) data set with attachments enabled. Based on conditions observed in the field anywhere between 1 and 10 photos are attached to a single observation point by crews. Desired outcome: I'd like to build a map series based on these points from the field where the map series iterates through the ID for each point and outputs a map for each photo attachment. Ex. Some points would only generate one map because only one photo is attached to that point whereas other points would generate 5 or 6 maps, one for each photo attached to the point. Current setup: I have the dynamic picture in my layout and it allows me to set the photo frame to the <Attachment> field. I can get one photo attachment to show for each point (I only want one photo frame per map)
