Brandon, I took the autocomplete off on the particular select_one questions that have the calculations. There is still autocomplete on other select_one questions that do not have calculations and it’s working.

Yes Brandon auto complete is what the appearance is set to. I'll check if turning that off makes the calculation work. I have several hundred choices in the pull down so autocomplete is desirable.

I was so happy to hear that calculations are supported on select_one questions, but I'm facing a problem in implementing this functionality. I have a work flow that is using pull data calculations to populate a text field. Because I have a question later that is a select_one question that is the same data I don't want to ask the end user for the same information again. I want the select_one question to auto populate. When I place the calculation "${text}" in the calculation column for the select_one question all of my xform appearance, relevant, and data calculations break. I can't just skip the select_one question, because the pulldata on the {text} field is dependent on an online workflow and we have many users that don't have internet in their field context, and there is a later question that filters based on the response in the select_one question. Am I trying to implement a workflow that was not envisioned in the new calculation capabilities in select_one questions or am I typing in the calculation wrong?

Edwin, The function you refer to has all the data before it goes to the server, but when it is refreshed from the inbox for edits (pulled down from the server) all of the data from repeats are missing from the object. Lee

Edwin, Thanks for pointing us to the function. Our developer is looking at that part of the .qml. We currently are have written our own .qml module. We will need both capabilities, visualizing and calculating off current values as well as updating those values in the feature service. Lee

Thanks James! It appears that everything in "data" is called by the "rowid" but the only records seen here are those in the feature service. I should note that I'm trying call records from the inbox, so they are pulling from the server. After the records have been submitted to AGOL should the records be called from a different place than the xforms data?

We are currently working on an extended version of Survey123 adding some functionality for visualizing feature dependencies for a client. There is a series question in the data and I need to parse it and run some calculations on it for the visualization. Why can't I see any of the data from the related table when parsing the xforms db?

James, I think a getting started button that takes you to a landing page the first time you open the app could be helpful. This landing page could inform the user that they either use their login or how you get public surveys (ie a link shared with them). I have been very surprised at how many people have been tripped up by just thinking they are in the wrong place or that they don't have credentials to use the app and then the same users don't circle back around and try to get the form. They give up and move on. I just need something in the landing page that indicates public forms are downloaded by clicking external links and that by opening the app they haven't gone to the wrong place they just need to go back and find the link that was shared with them. Is it possible for the landing page with the app to so something like getting started instead of login? We are working on onboarding hundreds of users of repetitive public surveys so the users need the app installed, but most are very confused thinking they can't get the public form. The public forms are working properly but the landing page implies you must have a login to use the app.
