Sorry, no ETA yet. Continue to use the workarounds (using Add Caller or Edit Permissions) at this time.

5.23 Release Items Licensing Updated the ArcGIS Enterprise Portal workflow to allow the user type selection for all available license types when they have ArcGIS Workgroup Standard Creators. Resolved an issue where the 'Add Pro License and Extensions' step was showing in the 'Edit License File' workflow when it didn't show in the original licensing workflow. Fixed an issue on the License Files page where the License Files lists could not be exported if the Tags filter was applied. For cancelling license files, the title of the Cancellation agreement was updated to 'License Cancellation Terms' from ' License Transfer Terms'.

Bill sent me the video of the issue, and it is clearly a bug in My Esri. For admins who may have also encountered this, too, the bug is that if you fill out the "Take authorized caller actions" section on the form you see from My Organizations > Users > Manage Requests when you grant a user permissions, the authorized callers settings don't "take". You have to add them again using another method (My Organizations > Users > Manage Authorized Callers > Add Caller, or My Organizations > Users > Edit Permissions) as a workaround. I will put a bug in our system for our developers to fix. Once we deploy the fix, we'll let you know in the Release Notes the My Esri Product Owner Josh Beaton posts here on GeoNet. (If I remember, I'll post a reply here as well.) Thanks again, Bill, for reporting this.

I didn't see a link to your movie anywhere, but the "null" users you point to in the image above are legitimate. You've invited several folks to your organization, and since they haven't accepted their tokens yet, My Esri has no usernames for them yet. So they are correctly shown as "null" in your screenshot. I'm looking for something like this:

Thanks for the screenshot, Bill. That is from My Organizations > Users > Edit Permissions, correct? The caller settings from there should definitely "stick". I don't think we need a movie at this point (mostly because I don't want you to have to post private information), but could you try again, but this time with the developer tools of your browser open? View its Network tab, and keep an eye out for any text that comes up in red. A screenshot of that with any errors would be helpful.

My Esri recently added some functionality to allow organizations have an "Owner Only" flag set for them. With this setting turned ON, users (that is, authorized callers) at an organization are only able to see technical support cases they themselves submitted. They cannot see cases submitted by their colleagues. Admins with View Technical Support Information permission at the organization will continue to see all cases, regardless of the flag setting. For domestic organizations, contact your organization's Customer Service Representative (CSR) for more information. Your CSR is listed on your My Organizations > Overview page. For non-US organizations, contact your distributor.

Hi Daniel, There are several blog topics here that address your issue, This one may be of the most help: https://community.esri.com/community/my-esri/blog/2019/03/04/tips-tricks-arcgis-pro-and-public-accounts Start there, and if that doesn't help, try a search on GeoNet to find others. Teresa

Hi Bill, Sorry that you are having this issue. I see that you are editing an existing user. Sometimes there are issues with the backend systems that prevent updates from occurring; when this happens, My Esri sends the user an invitation instead. While it's true this user's existing connection does not reflect it has been updated, you can see that he has been sent an invitation. Once he accepts the token that was sent to him, his permissions on his existing connection will update. The reason it is failing is that the backend system has 2 contact records for this user, and My Esri doesn't know which to update. We try to "fail gracefully" and handle this for you, which is why an invitation was sent instead of updating the record. But I agree the end-user experience is a bit confusing. I see that you are at an organization that has Premium Support. Please contact your TAM (Technical Account Manager) - he can merge the records for you. Hope this helps, Teresa

Hi David - Sorry that you are getting so many messages from GeoNet. Did you check your Preferences? After you sign in to GeoNet, you can click your little avatar to find Preferences in the menu: From there, you control the frequency of notifications. Updating these will help you limit the number of notifications you get. Hope this helps, Teresa

My colleague reminded me that there is another workaround - there are tooltips on each of the green check marks which show what the permission is. Hope this helps, too.
