I am using the NearMe Widget through WebApp Builder Developer edition for a Parcel Sales Comparison Application. I am using the NearMe widget to compare a piece of property to recent nearby parcel sales. The widget works well (only a few bugs!) but I am wondering if the behavior when using the buffer is normal. An example of this behavior is as follows, I select a location on the map and create a 1 mile buffer, only parcel sales (point data) within the buffer are visible within the results pop-up. This behavior is ideal but other parcel sales (points) are still visible outside of the buffer. Ideally, I would like only parcel sales (points) within the buffer to be visible on the map. Is there a way to configure the app to work this way? To filter layer visibility by using the buffer or is that kind of filtering just not supported? Even if it was possible to add some script or code to the config files, this would be an ideal solution. Thanks in advance! Siona

Robert, Firstly, great widget. I set this up in an app for our zoning department and they love the tool! Going back to what Raviteja was asking above, I would like to change the default measurement units to Feet, not miles. I can't find anywhere in the widget folder, where I can make this customization. With other widgets I have incorporated into my apps, you can find the HTML code and make a change looking something like this within the unit options: <option value="Feet" selected="selected">${nls.unitsFeet}</option> I am wondering within your widget if there is a way I can do this? I can't seem to find any place to make this change. I noticed in your response to Raviteja that you used the JS API Measurement Dijit for that portion of the widget. Do you think you could give me a little more background on this? I found this piece of code in the Widget.js file that I think has to do with the Measurement Dijit: I am specifically looking at lines 280 & 281. Do I just have to manipulate this piece of code to change the default unit settings? Am I missing something? Any guidance you have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Siona Roberts

I have created a map in AGOL and have included a custom attribute expression using Arcade. I have then imported this map into WebAppBuilder Developer Edition. I would now like to be able to use the Search Widget to search by this custom attribute expression, but the field is not visible to search by when configuring the Search Widget.. The custom attribute expression is visible in the popup through WebAppBuilder Developer Edition and in the attribute table but that is about it. I'm thinking that maybe it just isn't possible to use custom attribute expression fields when configuring widgets in WebAppBuilder? But maybe there is a workaround? Thanks in advance! After writing this post and staring at my expression for sometime, I realized I had my Less Than/Greater Than symbols backwards. The expression worked like a charm, in case anyone is out there trying to do the same thing!

Hello! I am trying to create an SQL query through the Select By Attribute window on a date field that will select the current date and everything two years prior. I can't seem to find anything online where this has been completed successfully. I am using ArcMap 10.7 and trying to do the Select By Attribute on a Date field which I manually enter the dates into. The reason I want an SQL expression that will grab the Current Date and everything prior for two years is because this expression will then be incorporated into a nightly run model so the date is consecutively changing as time goes on. One thing that I think is important to mention is that I am not entering new dates into my database daily. With this being said then, can I use CURRENT_DATE in my expression? For example: I wrote this post on 08/14/2019. So the expression I am looking for, when run today would select all dates between 08/14/2019 and 08/14/2017 and then tomorrow the expression would select all dates between 08/15/2019 and 08/15/2017. Also my selection field is called: LegalEnd_Da I have tried the following expression, which verifies successfully yet nothing in my attribute table is actually selected: "LegalEndDa" <= (CURRENT_DATE -750) AND "LegalEndDa" >= CURRENT_DATE Thank you in advance and I hope I have clarified my end goal clearly enough. Hi there Sandra! Sorry for the late reply. After being on the phone for some time with tech support, there was no real solution to the issue except to create a brand new web map and app.. It solved my issue with the superfluous layers turning on but its worrisome that the only solution is to basically recreate an entire project. After recreating my web map and app, I haven't had the same issue again though.

I retried this, making sure I had location accuracy and it worked perfectly in both the old version of Collector and the new version. Thank you!

Some time has past since this original post and the solution by Bob Wheeler worked great! But now I am trying to use the same workflow to auto populate Lat & Long in Collector for ArcGIS instead of, what is now called, Collector Classic. My issue is that I cant get the Lat & Long fields to auto populate anymore by using the solution from Bob Wheeler in the new version of Collector. Bob Wheeler have you run into this same issue? Kylie Donia do you know if the new version of Collector has some other means of autopopulation? Thanks in advance!
