Hi ArcGIS Pro SDK Team, is it somehow possible to use MSBuild Properties in the Config.daml? Specifically I am interested in the elements and attributes belonging to the AddInInfo element. We have things like author, company or version already specified in MSBuild properties because we need them during compile time for setting the neccessary attributes in the Assembly.Info or for setting values in the WiX Installer. It would be nice to reuse this MSBuild properties in the Config.daml so that I do not have to the declare the same values twice (and redundant). I know, I can write a custom MSBuild target that changes the values in the Config.daml at compile time but is there an easier way to do this? Best regards, Chris

Thanks for your answer. We are using Oracle Spatial and not ST_GEOMETRY. We willl change the geometry type of the database. Is there any plan to support Oracle Spatial in the feature? Am I correct that in postgres I could use both ST_GEOMETRY and the PostGIS geometry type?

Hey Everyone, I'am trying to register a feature dataset with branch versioning but I am constantly getting the error message ERROR 999999: Something unexpected caused the tool to fail. Please refer to the error help for potential solutions, or contact Esri Technical Support http://esriurl.com/support . Invalid Multibranch registration [UTARC.StructureJunction_1] Failed to execute (RegisterAsVersioned). When i delete the feature class StructureJunction_1 from the feature dataset, I get the same error message for another feature class. If I delete that also, I get the error message for the next feature class in the feature dataset and so on. I am using ArcGIS Pro 2.2.4. The database is an oracle database and my SDE connection file is created with branch versioning enabled. Can anybody give me a hint what I am doing wrong?

No, we are still facing this issue. We are hoping that maybe ArcGIS 10.6.1 will solve this issue.

Hello Everyone! I set up different feature services in my ArcGIS server and published them to portal. Some of these feature services contain a utility network, some of them not. When I am adding these feature services to a map in ArcGIS Pro, I can access the Utility Network Ribbon for those layers that belong to a utility network. So far so good. My idea is now to author some web maps and to write a ArcGIS Pro configuration with a custom start page where the end user can select one of the pro-authored web maps to work with. My problem is that the utility network ribbon is not visible for the un-layers in the web map. When I take a look at the layers of the web map I can see that the utility network itself is not part of the layer tree which would explain why the un-ribbon is not visible. How can I add the utility network layer to a web map? I didn't find any way to add the layer when creating the web map in portal. Am i doing something wrong? Or perhaps the idea with web maps isn't the right choice but how would I pre-author different maps for the end users?

Ok, I think I found the reason myself: Apparently there is a bug in ArcGIS Pro when publishing a map service, see ArcGIS Pro Cityworks SOE and BUG-000110249: The option to enable Server Object Extensions (SOEs).. There is a workaround described in the bug ticket "Go to the service properties in ArcMap Catalog window or ArcCatalog and enable the SOE/SOI from the Capabilities tab." but this does not work: When I try to activate the soe in ArcGIS Catalog for a service published from ArcGIS Pro, I get the error message "ERROR: 'MySoeName' is not a valid extension type for 'MapServer'." The other solution, originally publishing from ArcMap or ArcCatalog is also no solution in my case because I am trying to use the new Utility Network, so I am a little bit stuck right know. Is there any solution for this problem?

Hello Everyone! if have an installation with ArcGIS Portal and ArcGIS Server 10.6. I uploaded a Server Object Extension and Server Object Interceptor to the ArcGIS Server. When I create an mxd file with ArcMap and publish a map service from ArcMap, I can activate the SOE as well as the SOI on this map service in the ArcGIS Server Manager. When I publish a Map Service from ArcGIS Pro, it is not possible to activate the SOE or SOI for the resulting map service in the ArcGIS Server Manager. I don't even the SOE or SOI in the configuration page of the map service. Can anybody give me a hint what's wrong?
