I agree with Dan - you need to uninstall / reinstall everything, not just one part. Good luck!

Are you using the "Copy Selected" option from within the table in order to copy the items to the clipboard? If so, when you double click into a cell in Excel, then paste, it will typically paste everything into one cell. However, if you click once on the cell that will be the origin cell [e.g. A1] in Excel > then paste, it SHOULD paste the individual columns.

Are you attempting to authorize a Single Use product? Is this a new installation of the software? I would contact your local Technical Support Team, as this may require a screenshare session. In the mean-time, I would suggest rebooting the machine, then trying the Authorization process again. Make sure that all ArcGIS products are closed when you attempt to Authorise the product. If that does not help, you may need to complete a full, clean uninstall and reinstall. Make sure that there are no ArcGIS products open / running when you reinstall the software.

Is this image classified already? If not, you will first need to carry out that classification process. If you are going down that road - you really need to define / decide upon the classes you wish to identify first. Then, you could look at using a Zonal Statistics approach to calculate % area per class type, or even use Tabulate Area. Really depends on your desired output / workflow!

I would strongly recommend touching base with the Technical Support Team for your region. They may need to investigate this on your behalf.

Are you saving it to a folder or a .gdb? If saving it to a folder, put .dbf after the name, and keep the name short, sweet, no special characters, no spaces [the usual].

OK - so there are a number of ways to go about this - all depending on the expectation of data accuracy / time available / cost etc. Are remote sensing data extraction techniques an option?

Hey! Can we please get some more information about the imagery you're using? For example, resolution [spatial and spectral!]. Also - it might be worth checking the system requirements to see if there's anything else going on!
