Not having the option to download a file geodatabase impacts all users of our Open Data site.  Currently the only option is to download a shape file. When you download a shape file you are impeded by size limitations and you lose data integrity because any and all domains associated with the data are lost.  I understand that the option of downloading as a file geodatabase is available if we host our data in ArcGIS Online but for our organization that is not a viable option. These limitation cause our open data site to be used less than it should be.   We consistently get requests for file geodatabases and end up having to provide the data the old fashioned way - zipped and emailed or via FTP. In addition, when we need to acquire data from our partnering communities, data that is used to support several critical systems, we are forced to request file geodatabases from them via zipped email or FTP rather than use their respective Open Data site because shape files do not meet our requirements.  This makes the true impact of this for us two-fold.  ... In Web app builder, I need to be able to set a filter on a date field to only show records "on current date" or "after current date" by default. Do not want the "viewer" to have to reset the filter date each day. This would allow viewers of a public facing road closure application to only see active closures and not expired ones. ... GIS Services added as items in ArcGIS Online give you the ability to limit usage to individual referrers or ip addresses.  It would be nice if this capability was added to the hosted feature services themselves.  This would eliminate the extra step needed to register the hosted service as an item in order to limit the referrers. ... We are looking to deploy a purpose built Story Map type of map for each City department page web map and from it "link" to the My Government Services to provide additional information. We would like to be able to pass, accept and process parameters between the two mapping applications. Reason being that is you were for example on a Neighborhoods Department Story Map it would be preferred that if through a click you could be linked to the My Government Services Map in the same extent that you were viewing  before you linked instead of taking you to the overall map where you are then required to either zoom to the extent again or search by address.
