Hello everyone, I've been running through the .NET tutorials. I stumble upon an error in the Augmented Reality tutorial that I can't get my head around (I'm quite the novice in this environment). I have managed and updated the NuGet packages as necessary by the debugger, I've built the program\.dll successfully, but when I run the tutorial as instructed I get the following error: " A project with an Output type of Class Library cannot be started directly In order to debug this project, add an executable project to this solution which references the library project. Set the executable project as the startup project." I have gone into the project properties and changed to both windows and console app, but then I stumble upon: CS5001 C# Program does not contain a static 'Main' method suitable for an entry point I have no clue if or how or where to add this main or initiate it (I'm that much of a scrub), but it was my understanding that the program should run from the get-go. Any pointers are greatly appreciated.

On closer look, this functionality only displays .dwg and Revit files. Our project only had the .pdf's of the drawings. Once I uploaded .dwg it appeared.

Hello, I'm hoping you can help me, the problem I'm having is I cannot see any drawings/files within my BIM360 cloud storage using the ArcGIS Pro link: Our administrator has "approved" the ArcGIS app within the administration account. (before that I couldn't see the projects or the folder structure) I as a user have full access in this project. And lastly, I have ArcGIS Pro Basic, so it could be an issue of license level? What do I need to do more in order to view the documents so that I can add it to my GIS project?

I finally found the workflow. Firstly I needed to create the scheme. I achieved this using the scene layer that contained both the "basemap" and my elevation, to be honest, I think none of the data in my layers mattered other than the extents and coordinate system of the map. Steps: Generate Map Server Cache Tiling Scheme <- creates the first .XML file containing the tiling scheme. Generate Tile Cache Tiling Scheme <- Expand advanced options and select LERC compression in the Tile Format. For generation method use "predefined" and the output .XML file from step 1! Manage Tile Cache <- In Input Tiling Scheme use the tiling scheme from step 2. The output of this tool is a Raster Dataset that shows you the size and number of tiles. Export Tile Cache <- Export .tpk Finally, upload the .tpk from step 4 to AGOL using the add item, and check the publish box. To add the correctly tiled map/raster on top of this: Same as the first step above Create Map Tile Package <- using .XML from step 1 (note, do not use the LERC .XML scheme from step 2) Same as step 5. The .tpk does not contain information about the number of tiles or size. If you want this also for your tiled map/raster, I suggest you could do steps 1 through 5 but choose another Tile Format method, such as png/.jpg/Mixed, I have not tried this method for publishing the basemap, but I think it should work.

Found the problem, I didn't notice that Data Interoperability was separately licensed tool/toolbox (or it was a separate toolbox for that matter).

Hello, I'm trying to figure out how to "publish" elevation layer by doing all the tile generation locally before uploading it to ArcGIS Online. I'm doing this because it becomes quite large when cached, and I have little experience so I'd rather not waste credits on trial and error. Is the Manage Tile Cache the right tool? Does the number of .bundle files correspond to numbers of tiles generated (good to know beforehand how many tiles they are if I have to go the direct right-click route)? In Manage Tile Cache I can't specify LERC compression, maybe I should use another tool? Once I generate tiles, I would like to use it as my elevation layer in ArcGIS Pro as well, and I can't seem to find the "layer" after tile generation. I assume this will run smoother than having all the underlying dataset loading when I pan around? How would I upload this once created locally? Looking for the tool that shares elevation as web layer, but with the option to do it locally. Any pointers would be appreciated.

Hello. I was trying to import Revit model into Pro and every feature class came up empty. This is the first time for me and I have no Revit experience (another employee in that division). Naturally, I assume that our Revit model is not properly set up, so I tried all the sample models within the Revit installation package (2020) and none of them is drawn in a local scene (2.4) when I try to drag and drop. I see all the families but no graphical representation of any of the models is displayed. So last resort would be to check if anyone here within the community has a model that they are willing to share and have successfully imported into ArcGIS Pro using the Add Data feature.

Got it, had to open "Configure your licensing options". What stopped me initially was on the front page there is a window with "Esri Extensions" that said it wasn't licensed, should perhaps show license activated/available Yes/No. Anyway, thank you for the help.

We have the model for Concurrent Use. I get that the licenses are separate for the programs, but the extensions is about each program having access to the same licensed toolbox? I have directed the interpreter to the 2.7 inside ArcGIS 10 but to no avail, I can run it in the python code within catalog/map and or using model builder, but the same code stops when I try to run it from the IDE. Anyway, I'm quite new to ArcGIS, IDE's and Python so it's a mouthful to chew all at once.
