Is this patch for ArcGIS Version 10.2.2 working? Our Software-Provider told me last week, that we have to upgrade to 10.4 before i can use the patch. So now i am not able to publish anything.... Even publishing the .sd files via the ArcGIS Server Manager does not work. The "uploading" process takes ages - so i had to stop it after 10 minutes. Is there another way to publish my services? Thanks alot and thanks for the patch-solution!

Hi Manuela, did you have any sucess with the ESRI contact? Did you manage to get the locator style without any consulting or cost? I do not know why they host tuturials and "How to Geocode" - webpages in german language, if you can not even use the Adress Locator Styles included in the standard ArcGIS Software package. I also do not understand why you need to pay for a one day consulting course on the one hand if the US Locator Styles on the other hands are available for free. Anyway, I found a way to geocode adresses (from tables) - the question i asked myself now - why am i still using ArcGIS for postprocessing the geocoded adresses (creating shape files, Service layers etc.). I think QGIS does the Job within the Package..... In this case i do not see the advantage of using ArcGIS anymore..... Best regards, Thomas

Hi GeoNet Community Members - since last week i have a problem with the visualization of our maps (esp. the services) when using the Internet Explorer (Version 11.0.9600.18792 - Update Version: 11.0.46). E.g. if you try to open the follwoing app: ArcGIS Web Application (it is an overview of different restaurants) you will get the message, that the layers could not be initialy drawn within the map (all services are running ( http:// ))! At the bottom of the map window you get this little little little window where you can activate (via: Show whole content - Gesamten Inhalt anzeigen) that the whole content should be shown (not only the secure one): So my question - where is the source of the problem? The behaviour just occured during the last weeks. Our IT asked if i changed something but i did not change any parameter within the organizational account settings or within the arc gis server manager either within arcgis. If you use Firefox - everything works fine. This error just confuses the users of the application . Does anyone has a clue? Thank you in advice, best regards, Thomas

Flex-Application Adress-Locator location Today i got this error message within my flex application Locator-Widget. The error message within the application looks like this: "Connection to Locator-Service failed: http://tasks.arcgis.com/ArcGIS/rest/services/WorldLocator/GeocodeServer "[...]" [RPC Fault faultString="Sicherheitsfehler beim Zugriff auf die URL" faultCode="Channel.Security.Error" faultDetail="Ziel: DefaultHTTP"]" The content of my LocateWidget.xml is the following: <?xml version="1.0" ?> <?xml version="1.0" ?> <configuration label="World Geocoding"> <locator> http://tasks.arcgis.com/ArcGIS/rest/services/WorldLocator/GeocodeServer </locator> <minscore>40</minscore> <zoomscale>10000</zoomscale> </configuration> Question: Is there a new locator url? I last checked the locator widget in 2015 or early 2016.

Hi Derek, sorry for the late reply and thanks for your answer. I did not know that the analysis widget contains so many tools. I am working in the public sector within an administration. The only disadvantage of the Extract Data tool, ist the usage of Credits. I think i will include hyperlinks for dl the GPX/GPS Data into the attribute table. Thank you very much! Feature Download Widget: I have a layer containing alot of hiking paths/trials. What i would like to offer is the possibility to download a selected trial as gpx-File/gps-File or any other file format. Is there already a widget or some option for realizing this task?

Hello Robert, maybe i forgot to mention something and what i mean "without any success". I did not use the "Filter Widget" because my resulting "query" layer should have flags as object icons. So within the "Query widget" i can configure the layer symbols for my resulting query objects. Unfortunately this is not possible within the Filter Widget. Is there a way, to get the result layer (filter widget) with a defined symbol? In my case country flags etc.... Thanks and beste regards, Thomas

Hi GeoNet Community, i have a question concerning the WAB-Builder and the presentation of results of the Query-Widget. Presently i am configuring a webapp which includes restaurants within a defined region. The restaurants offer different food so the user should have the opportunity to "filter" or "query" the restaurants by "type of food (e.g. Chineese, Turkish, Greek etc.). So i configured a the query widget. Now my problem: If i query the layer, i always have the original layer (which is already there, when opening the WebApp). But in my query results, i do not need the "base layer". I only want to see the layer with the query results (the same with the POPUPS). I also tried the same with the "filter" widget. Without any success. Here is the link to the WebApp: ArcGIS Web Application Do you know a way (firstly without programming) to solve this? I only want to see the result of the query and not the layer which was configured in the webmap. Thank you very much, kind regards, Thomas
