Hi there, I was wondering if there is anyway to backup a draft of a survey in Survey123. I have a survey that may take a couple days to complete and the field team were hoping to save the drafts on a thumb drive to prevent any loss of the data. Can this be done or are the drafts only saved on the device that was being used in the field? Thanks, Darren

Hi James, Thanks the reply, I have stumbled upon that article but I was hoping to be able to associate a web map from AGO into a survey. Is this possible or is it only tile packages?

Hi there, I was wondering if there is any way to include a map that has been published on ArcGIS online in a geopoint question within a survey. I have been able to insert a custom basemap by creating a tile package but it is static and those in the field need the data that is most up to date. If this is possible I would greatly appreciate the help! Thanks, Darren

Hi James, I had a question about downloading photos within repeats. The survey I created has a repeat question that includes a select_one question asking the user what is contained in the photo that they submit. They select an answer such as upstream, downstream, fallen tree ect. then they take the photo. Unfortunately when I batch download the photos this information is not included in the photo's record.Changing the name of each photo would take far too long for those out in the field as many photos will be taken for each survey. I believe Robert Marros had a similar question at the very beginning of this thread but that was two years ago and I was wondering if any new functionality has been added to fix this issue. Hi Doug, Thanks for the reply, I'm having a bit if trouble working through your script. At line 36 what does the "attachView" refer to? Also, within the field list are all the fields in quotes the names of fields in the survey?

Hi there, I was wondering how photos that have been batch downloaded from Survey123 can be associated to the record with which it was submitted. The field workers that will be using the form need to take pictures at a site but when the photos are batched downloaded using a Python script there is no additional information. The survey contains a SiteID question and I wanted to associate each photo to the site at which it was taken. The photo question is a repeat because several photos need to be taken at each site. Is there anyway for site information to be attached to each photo? Maybe changing the name of the photos to something that involves the site name? Thanks for your help!

Hi there, I am currently putting a form together to be used in the field and I was asked if it would be possible to take notes using a stylus. The field workers have had troubles in the past taking notes in the middle of bad weather and being able to use a stylus would make things much easier. I have tested a form on a Panasonic FZ-A2 toughpad tablet but it has not worked. Is there anyway that this can be changed? Thanks for the help, Darren
