Regarding running multiple processing runs in Drone2Map: For processing run #1, I used Drone2Map to generate an ortho, DSM and DTM using the Inverse Distance Weighting method with no noise filtering and no smoothing applied. For the processing run #2, I re-ran the processing using the triangulation algorithm, noise filtering, and surface smoothing ("smooth" option). However, the results of the 2nd run (DSM and DTM) overwrote my original 2D products, including the report, so I can't compare the two. Is there a way to do multiple processing runs in Drone2Map within the same project while preserving previous results? I could create an entirely new project, but I believe I'd have to re-do the links between photos and GCPs, which I'd rather not have to do. #drone2map remotesensing drones uav dsm dtm

I only recently discovered raster catalog as a really efficient way to display historical aerial photos and topos in a data driven pages series. Increasingly, I'm having to use both Pro and ArcMap for projects to get around limitations in each, and this is no exception. I would love to see raster catalog supported in Pro at the basic license level.

The map constantly collapses/closes in the contents pane any time I make a change to a feature class in the map. For instance, if I change the label properties or change symbology of a layer, the map collapses and I have to re-open it in the contents pane. It is a serious hindrance to productivity. See attached video (layout blacked out for privacy). Does anyone else experience this or have a workaround? I am using ArcGIS Pro 2.4.3 on Windows Professional 64-bit OS.

This is what I use: https://www.arcgis.com/home/webmap/viewer.html?webmap=c1c2090ed8594e0193194b750d0d5f83 It shows attributes of all tiles/zoom levels when you click on a location.

Do you have many "arc" segments in the map? This happens to me when I have complex CAD data converted to feature class with lots of curved segments. Selecting only those I want to trace and checking "Trace selected features" worked, as suggested by others above.

If it were me, I might try creating a new field in the attribute table called "label_number", assign each feature a unique ID number, then label using the label number, not the label text. You might still need to convert to annotation but most likely there will be fewer unplaced annotation labels. Then create a legend for just that feature class, sorted by unique values, many fields (label_number and your text label), convert to graphics, ungroup, delete symbol patches, format how you wish and place somewhere in your data frame. It's basically a hack for key numbering, but of course the dynamic nature of labeling is lost. Good luck.

I tried a few different things (raster calculator, mosaic to new raster, merge) and this is what finally worked for me: create a new geodatabase, create a new mosaic dataset, then add rasters to new mosaic dataset. Here's a tutorial: http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/main/10.1/index.html#/Exercise_1_Creating_a_mosaic_dataset/009t000000p3000000/ I had to choose dataset instead of workspace for my multiple DEMs. Worked like a charm!
