ArcGIS Pro is anything but not future… It is already ArcGIS Pro many versions, but still lord of bugs…

Thanks Marco. I actually just figured this out too. Since the FACILITYID is coming from two different 'tables' I just needed to specify ALL_WR_Table.FACILITYID (as well as all the other fields). Yes, I now realize that using an alias would be more helpful too!! 🙂 Thanks for the help!

Dare to dream Thomas! I gave a concerted effort 6 or so years ago, as my organization's primary point-of-contact for our Esri enterprise agreement, to get Esri to be more transparent with defects and enhancements. Plenty of e-mails and some phone calls showing how some other companies are much more open and handle it better, better in my view, but little to nothing has changed. I simply gave up caring on this issue so I can focus my limited time and energy on matters with Esri that may actual change.

Support does not recognize that (case of repeated points) as a software problem. For them the geometry is erroneous while it is valid for PostGIS. Mentioning the validity rules in the documentation would have been helpful... Their only workaround is to correct the data upstream, they suggest ST_Simplify function with tolerance of 0.

I tried using ApplySymbologyFromLayer in model builder and can confirm it doesn't work in Pro 2.7 as a standalone model on existing layers. The model seems to get confused on what is a Variable Name and what is a Variable Value: 1. Looks ok: 2. Looks ok 3. The Variable Name is now the Variable Value: It doesn't work in a Python Toolbox either -> https://my.esri.com/#/support/bugs/BUG-000136115

Has this changed with the latest updates? I've been trying to follow those instructions while signed into Pro for both Portal and AGOL, however my searches are returning nothing.

UPDATE: my case with ESRI is still open, they want me to repair the installation, but I can't do this now due to existing workloads. What I have done to temporarily fix the issue is disable indexing in ArcGIS Pro options. This should stop the process ArcGISIndexingServer.exe from running, and no .geodatabase files are created in my TEMP folder. I was also able to safely delete all the 200GB of .geodatabase files in that folder with no apparent issues (so far). When my work quietens down, I will repair the installation and make sure indexing is enabled again. Then see what happens!
