I have a Line feature class (in a feature dataset, in a .GDB). Just one these 1 of 4 feature classes will only project its data when zoomed in to 1:800. Only a small fraction of this feature class is affected, it is geograophically close togeather and the editing in the area was done recently. Almost all of the line types will not display, except 1, as if there is an issue with the definition query settings are wrong, but the problem persisted even when there is no symbology or definition query being used. The other 3 feature classes function normally. I have checked the zoom for the feature class. I have rebuilt the spatial index query. I have cleared the display cache. I have tried Exporting to a new GDB. I have tried repairing geometry. Is this file corrupt beyond repair? or is there something else i can try. The data is still there as i can zoom in and see it... but it will not work at all zoom levels.

I'mn have a similar issue... by output raster do you mean the output of the iterator or is that a tool on its own? I need to be able to select individual bands after many rasters have pulled into the model.

I need to create an NDVI from multiple NAIP images and I will need to do it 3 or 4 times in the next year or 2. I have all the imagery in a folder which (I think) I will iterate through... but I need to generate an output in order to pull the bands I need into the raster calculator. advice? Thanks, Hank

My boss and I work on the same GDB. I tend to do most of the editing and he tends to do most of the viewing though we both do both. My current system for doing this is (and our network speed) often require me to copy the .gdb to my C drive for editing and then I delete the network version and replace it with the newly edited version. I would really like to be able to lock the network version of the .gdb while I have a copy on my C drive. I know there are expensive ways to co-edit but that is not an option for us. Thanks, Hank

Thank you, This sounds perfect for attributes that are based on polygon attributes, but what if an attribute is based on a point? or if an attribute is the title of a PDF? then I need a tool which changes attributes in all templates, is that somehow possible?

I do a ton of editing one of the attributes I need to keep track of is town name. I often bounce from one town to another which means changing a each of my templates from town X to town Y... and if i forget i need to go back and edit the features, which can take a long time as I have lots of features per town. I also have point line and polygon features which means changing even more templates... I think there are two solutions, I would rather the first one though the second one might be easier right now. 1. Is there a way to change all of my template's attributes from one town to another, for example if i am working in town X and switch to town Y, I want to be able to change 10 templates from town X to Town Y. I would really rather this work than the model builder idea below... 2. Is there a way to link a an attribute such as town name to data like town name and polygons representing each town so that this attribute is automatically updated based on the town that the feature falls in. I know I could do this with an automated join by location.... has anyone made this model/ tool yet?

I have a zillion point/ line/ polygon features in a GDB with a domain which allows me to select a town name which the feature is in... I also have a town polygon layer with town names in it... I want to automate this so that I can get every feature to have the correct town name attribute without having to make sure to get it right when i make the feature.... (also so I can get all the ones that got missed when data was created...

I am trying to intersect a single line feature class to find where lines cross. unfortunatly this process picks up places where lines are "snapped" togeather as the vertexes are in the same location. any ideas how i can do this? I am currently mapping storm sewer pipes and sometimes the pipes cross each other without connecting. in the past i was making a small kink in the pipe to represent the crossing but we want to swithc to a point symbol as it will reduce clutter/ be more visually accurate/ be pleasing to the eye... thanks
