Elizabeth Ayarbe, I was never able to get polygons to work. I made invisible points inside each polygon, then I used one point zoom level that was the best fit for viewing the polygons. It is a work around, but it gets the job done and it looks like it is zooming in on the polygons.

Rebecca Lehman, although I was never able to solve this. I did find a partial work around. Basically, I turned the polygons into points, then I was able to change the zoom using the solution here: https://community.esri.com/thread/206901-map-zoom-level-when-clicking-on-item-list I chose a zoom that worked better for most. As I said, it is a work around, not perfect. You can also only choose 1 zoom.

Is there a conversion of pointZoomScale values to the pre defined zoom levels on a map?

I have the same issue as well. The zoom to polygons is not very good. Is there a setting that can be changed for polygons? Aaron Pulver

I have the same issue. The zooms to a polygon using the category selector are not very good at all. In fact in some cases, all it does is pan over to the selected region without changing the zoom.

In ArcGIS online, you can assign multiple attributes to one variable. Is this not the case in portal?

Dan_Patterson, that is a cool tool. I essentially did something the very similar to that. But my question is more of a philosophical one. Why would you use a moving window in general vs just one static grid? Thanks

I have a grid where I am calculating rates (kind of). My boss asked me why I used this moving grid. I could not answer her, I just thought it was cool. Basically, I have a grid that is 25 miles on each side (625 square miles), I then remade the grid by shifting it 5 miles to the south a total of 4 times. The blocks were also shifted 5 miles to the east a total of 4 times (meaning I shifted the original block 24 times. So what is the advantage in doing this? Is it written in a best practice text or something similar? By doing this method, I will get the absolute highest area vs just one grid, I understand that. Am I making sense? Any advice or referrals would be appreciated. Thanks

Mike Minami, thanks for your help. One more question. I have 2 filters, in some cases, if you run both filters, you will get zero results. Unfortunately when this occurs, the user might think that the app is not working. Is there any way to get it to say something to the effect of "there are 0 results"? Here is my app: https://ladhh.maps.arcgis.com/apps/InteractiveFilter/index.html?appid=5a0fb661759f41fc9e85f41bf1a63cd9 Thanks, Clay

Mike Minami, thanks for your help. This is great. I opened up a help request through ESRI and got it working. I can only get them to work when I upload through ArcGIS directly, not uploading through ArcGIS Online as a zipped file geodatabase. The issue is that you need for the data to be given feature access. I have 2 questions that maybe you can help with that might benefit others as well. 1. On this web app that I made: https://ladhh.maps.arcgis.com/apps/InteractiveFilter/index.html?appid=3ea49071ac524dc3b23f973c354b6237 I have 2 layers in 1file geodatabase, that are queried by the same term. Is it possible to just have 1 filter for both (One is points, One is polygons)....I guess I could turn the points into extremely small polygons and turn it into 1 layer. 2. On another web app that I made: LaTSIP - Events by Parish | Department of Health | State of Louisiana In the picture above, is there any way to get rid of the "Any of the following expressions must be true."? What about the other various "prompts" and "hints"? In the picture above, I have replaced 2 with "periods" (above "LaTSIP Yearly Web Map" and above the "Apply Button"). Thanks, Clay
