Hello everyone, I have a layer consist of 8 different categories for each category set a different color code and opacity in desktop and publish in the ArcGIS Server. It working fine in ArcGIS Online. Whenever I using the map services in ArcGIS API for JS the color code is fine, but the opacity is not working. It automatically set 0% transparency and 1 Opacity. How can I set the different opacity for different categories in a single layer by the help of ArcGIS API for JS? Thanks for the help.

Hello everyone, I want to display the label in the map viewer for this I turn on labels in map services. I can see the label in the ArcGIS Online of that map services, but I can't see those label in the map viewer. Did I need to add any class or function? Am I need to write the class to visible? I see some sample examples like Labeling features client-side | Guide | ArcGIS API for JavaScript 3.21. But those are not helpful for me. I don't want to set the label name in my script because the client can vary the label field. For info, I'm using ArcGIS basic viewer template that was based on 3.15 API for JS. Thanks for the help.

Instead of removing the base map. I added another base map and set the transparency level 100% in the base map gallery widget that resolved my problem. layers: [new esri.dijit.BasemapLayer({ URL: " http://services.arcgisonline.com/arcgis/rest/services/World_Street_Map/MapServer ", opacity: "0" })

Thanks, Thomas. The idea was not bad. It is up to my question. Adding a no base map. It's good, but it removing the layer from the list. Initially, I have 3 items in the list. Whenever I'm clicking on the no base map icon. it removes the layer from the array list.
