Hey there, We are using the "old" method of publishing web sockets (Publish Features to a Stream Layer) We have set up the Server to use ssl, however I can't find the wss endpoints. Any clues most welcomed. Best Regards Darryl

Hi there, Can a Stream Layer (in the Javascript API) connect to a secure web socket (wss)? Also, can the GEE publish feature to a secure stream layer (wss) ? Many thanks.

Hi there, Has anyone had any experience migrating the GeoEvent Processor config from 10.1 to 10.3.1. The GEP and services are quite complicated, and we would prefer to export the config xml and then re-import it. We are also using some custom Java components. Has anyone ported these from 10.1 to 10.3.1? Many thanks Darryl

Hi there, I've tried removing the .jar files from the Deploy directory and adding them only via the components page. However still getting the same results. Note that the .jar files were compiled against 10.2.1. Could this be the cause? Many thanks Darryl

Hi there, I'm looking at a new install of the 10.3.0 GeoEvent. I am trying to add a custom component by going to site/components/Processors and clicking the "Add Local Processor" button. I then browse to the location of the .jar file I created (I keep them in C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Server\GeoEvent\deploy - as this was how it worked in previous versions) and I get the message "Processor "my-custom-processor-10.2.1.jar" added successfully". However, the processor is not it the list on the site/components/Processor page nor is it available in the drop down when using the designer. I've tried closing the manager console and also re-starting the GeoEvent Service, however the custom component is still not available, Any help would be most welcomed. Best Regards Darryl

Hi there, Regarding problem 1. The "Delete Files After Processing" had been checked. Still not working. A further problem when watching a folder for JSON. The GEP input is throwing Json parser exceptions for valid JSON files. The files are around 65 Kb. What I believe is happening is that the GEP input is too eager, and is trying to read the file before all the data has been written to the file (i.e. as soon as the file handle is created). It then throws a JSON parser error, and retries. If the file still has not finished writing, another error is thrown. If the file has finished writing the file is read and processed. An alternate explanation is that the GEP input is only reading part of the file??? Has anyone experienced this? Many thanks Darryl

Hi there, We are using 10.2.1. What is the default http input time out for this version? From testing it appears to be only around 2-3 seconds. Best Regards Darryl
