Same issue here. I want to use multiple separate source layers in one dashboard graph, diagram, or indicator, but it only seems to work with one source layer.

Thanks for your reply, but I'm looking for the reverse of this and at an organization level. I want to know all of the MXD's on my domain network that reference a given SDE layer not what layers are used in 1 MXD. But, I imagine you are correct in Python being the starting point. Unfortunately for me, I'm not a server admin, so I don't have access to running Python on the server housing the SDE layers. But, whatever the solution ends up being, I will pass it onto the server admins. Thanks again.

Much like how GEO-Jobe's Admin Tools for ArcGIS Online allows administrators to view item dependencies for layers or maps in ArcGIS Online, is there a tool administrators of an SDE database can use to view all of the MXD's within an organization that depend upon a SDE layer in ArcGIS Enterprise? Our county would like to clean up SDE layers no longer used by any current initiatives across the entire organization, so a tool like GEO-Jobe's but for SDE layers not online layers would be extremely helpful.

Bummer... I was really hoping the future roadmap included "Popup Enhancements" like varied popup placement and a side panel popup options by default on map load. The non-default Dock option covers the map even more than the default popup. Users want to see the map + the popup information together but not at the expense of the other.

Thanks for the information Russell. Since most of our users aren't mapping geeks like us, we want them to do as little digging as possible to get to the information we are providing. Choice is a great thing, but we've found that users will turn away before taking the time to find out how to move or dock something if it's not that way by default.

It really seems like ESRI is continually creating new ways of doing something without perfecting what they already have. So many of us on various GeoNet Communities have asked for basic options for features to be refined across all products and have yet to see them refined across all products. It seems as though the different product developers don't communicate with one another. For example, I don't know how many times I've read in different GeoNet Communities people asking for more robust popup options and functionality out of the box, like offering a side panel popup without additional programming required so that map and app customers/visitors don't have popup information they want to read covering up the part of the map they're learning about. Web AppBuilder has a user made widget that does this, but the Operations Dashboard seems to be ESRI's only online product that offers this out of the box. We wish that same functionality was carried over to the Dashboard themed Web AppBuilder app and to all of the ESRI Story Maps, ArcGIS StoryMaps, and to new products like ArcGIS Experience Builder Beta and this new Map Viewer Beta. I've read over and again replies from ESRI about working on bringing the same functionality in one app to other existing apps, yet instead, all we get is a new way to do something via a new product and the inevitable newly associated GeoNet Community to post the same request in that we've been asking to have for years in all of the other GeoNet Communities. Other than that, thanks for all of the great work you do that allows us the opportunity to better inform our customers via GIS online and offline!

I'd like an easy way to see which web maps in my organization use a particular layer. Usage shows number of views and when, but I'd like to know where.

If you're using a self hosted story map, perhaps this Pure CSS read more toggle code will work for you.

This is exactly what we have been attempting to do with id's and anchors with no luck, thanks! I've tested this out on the non-hosted version of my story map and it works great, but how do I get it to work on the hosted version? Where do I place the &entry=3 for a hosted story map? We're seeing the same slow opening of the Properties window on our new Windows 10 PC's with clean installations of 10.5.1. There are 3 of us running Windows 10 now while everyone else is using Windows 7. We do not see this slow opening of the Properties window with 10.5.1. on Windows 7 PC's, but all consistently experience it on Windows 10 whether working with local or networked MXD's. It takes 16-20 seconds to open. We do not use SQL and are an Oracle shop using the Oracle 11.2.0.4 64-bit instant client to connect to our Oracle servers. We renamed the Desktop10.5 folders within %appdata%/ESRI/ and %localappdata%/ESRI/ to refresh configuration settings, but that did nothing to resolve the issue. Has anyone found a resolution for this?
