Hi Joe, Thanks for the info. Appreciate the response. We would have only about 70 reports per year but they'd be quite lengthy. If I could even find out if it is in the plan to include eventually I think we could make due for a while. Hate to custom something up and then find out it becomes available in on-premise Survey123 website one day. Brian

Completely in agreement with @HélèneTouyéras and others. Especially where Hélène states, "... allowing organizations to keep all ESRI resources & traffic within the organization (for instance, this is a legal requirement for many governmental bodies outside the US)." Adding this would be most helpful to many. bks

@JoeFlannery curious how you made out and what direction you decided on. Did you go with ArcGIS Pro? or something else? Also, @PeterMacKenzie2 suggests that the on-premise version of Survey123 website (when it becomes available) is supposed to include the ability to run reports. However from my reading, there are some limitations that must be avoided to make this happen. But even if you are able to avoid the limitations, it seems like you still need to open your ArcGIS Enterprise to the public facing AGOL reporting service. Has anyone heard anything different? I would imagine that those who really could take advantage of such reporting (e.g. those like us that are looking to have report to support each asset inspection), would also be the type that have enterprise-wide data constraints that require all data to be stored on premise (or at least in-country - this is a Canadian organization). Any info you might be able to share would be appreciated. Cheers, bks

Actually I answered my own questions. If I put "compact w3" that recognizes both even though Excel complains that it's not a valid appearance value. Thanks again for that suggestion. bks

Hi Shwu-jingJeng, Theme grid does help to a certain degree. Thanks for pointing out. But how do you indicate the "width" appearance. On my groups I have the appearance set to "compact" so they all start up as collapsed. Is there a way to have multiple appearances for a group? I do not understand the format or location for where you specify the width (e.g. w3)? Thanks, bks

I'm aware of tips like using groups and pages to help with survey form navigation. But I'd like to know if there's any way to reduce the vertical real-estate taken by XLSForm questions. I can reduce the size of the labels which helps a little. But I'm not aware of anyway to reduce the vertical size of the input boxes to questions. Am I missing something or is this just a constraint of using XLSForms? Thx, bks see attached examples of how label text is much smaller but input boxes, input text choices, and the area between questions remains the same.

Hi there, For those that use multiple languages in their surveys, it appears to me the only way for a user to change the language is after they choose to "Collect" survey info. Just wondering if there's a way to allow a user to set a default preference in the S123 app and not linked only to each survey. I suppose this would create the issue that not all surveys are available in language "x". But when you "Collect" survey info, if the language hasn't been implemented, the default language could be presented. I'm not sure if there's a work-around otherwise I would post this in the Ideas section. If I'm missing something please let me know. Brian

Hi Shwu-jingJeng, I'm impressed at how fast you were able to decipher the issue and provide a solution. This worked like a charm. I was able to see the Cree in S123 Connect (Win10), S123 (Win10 app) and on my android device just fine. The geopoint question widget does not auto translate to Cree but that is what I expected. Have to admit I don't install fonts on my Win10 laptop often (ok never) but all I had to do was double click on the TTF file you provided and chose install. So I guess the issue really comes down to Windows only. That is, on MacOS and Android it works. I'll assume for now it will work on iOS as well for the S123 app. Thanks again ! Cheers, Brian ps - before you provided that truetype font, I tried loading Cree language on my Win10 laptop (see attached). After I did so I could see the Cree in the XLSForm and the Connect app and Win10 S123 app. But it size was too small. It was only after I loaded your font that it worked fine.

Hello I've created a survey with support for three languages: English, French and Cree. I believe all is good with English and French setup. RE: the Cree language I was not hoping for it to work perfectly since Cree does not seem to be supported (can no longer find that link where I read that). My recollection was that for languages that are not supported, it was referring to 100% support meaning that in some cases (e.g. geo questions) the widget instructional text will not be translated. However, I cannot get any of the translated text to appear as a label. It takes up space on the form but it is not visible; either in S123 Connect or S123 Survey app. Yet, in the Excel form it appears just fine. ᐊᒥᐢᑿᒌᐚᐢᑲᐦᐃᑲᐣ Here are some Cree syllabics that I copied into a label field using the Cree (cr) language code; same as I did with French (fr) and it worked as expected. I'm not looking for perfection but if we can get most of the survey translated (less widgets, etc) that would be worthwhile. Thanks for any input. Brian
