Does the river change elevation or is it the same for the entire length? Have a look at raster calculator. You could buffer your river to the desired pixel width and elevation Convert this to a raster then subtract the river raster from the DTM within Raster calculator. Hope this points you in the right direction.

I have followed these steps exactly many times over. I get to this step and hit the Orthorectify button and the temporary Ortho layer is created but I can't see it (even after turning the other layers off).. Have you tried altering the 'Stretch' in the Symbology section of Layer Properties?

Hello, I havn't worked with amy of these for a while and was wondering if someone could recommend the best format for tiling together separate aerial photographs? They both need to be of the same dimension and pixel size. Try clipping them both to the same boundary of your study area. You can use the resample tool to change pixel size.
