We have the same need! ideally we would be able to calculate values to a standard format on append rather than needing to follow up with field calcs for several fields. Related to sharing data up to the county.

Thank you, RJ! It's taken me awhile to get back to this, but did submit an incident into technical support. Being able to review the configuration of the stream service through the json is great! gives confidence for what is expected and can confirm that I didn't fat finger something in the set up. We've abandoned the idea of storing events at this point, just trying to get the related features to work as we have that scenario with a status being sent for a fixed asset - so would like to pull the location from the feature class. I'm optimistic we'll be able to get to the bottom of it and will report here for others that may run into similar -- jess

Hello! We are prototyping a geoevent 10.8 configuration using the stream service output -- but I'm struggling trying to figure out why the observations aren't being stored. I have kind of two related questions -- 1. why wouldn't the observations be stored? 2. how do i see what i set up in the publish stream service dialog? After the service is published, but it's not working as expected, the natural thing I want to do is confirm that the configuration parameters were correct -- but I can't figure out where to see those -- Here's the output service Clicking on 'publish stream service' again -- it doesn't bring up the previous config parameters -- it's like starting from scratch. it just occurred to me that this may be a bug... ? and there's nothing on the arcgis server side about the store latest or related features configs. thanks for any help or direction from the community! jess

The City Marshal would like his team to be able to review their own reports but not filter the dashboard to show any other single Marshal’s/Ranger’s data.

Hi folks -- Is there a way to change the label for a serial chart using grouped values -- the field for the values is an integer with a domain (they are scores with descriptions). The numbers aren't as helpful as the descriptions, but i can't figure out how to get labels to appear -- seems like it's cause it's a numerical field ... but the app also recognizes the descriptions, but won't show them -- argh! any chance there's a hack to get them to show up?? here's the config panel -- when i choose bar colors by Category, it displays the friendly description in the config panel, but not the chart... and i don't have an option to configure an alternative label... for reference - here's the data options config view -- thanks for confirmation either way! jess

Hello Survey123 experts -- We are working on a form for our Park Rangers and they were wondering if instead of new pages being added when they add a repeat record, if it could show up in a list. The main reason they shared for this is that they need to be able to review their entries (or as they are adding a new one, need to double check the first one) and being able to see the entries in a list would be easier than remembering all the pages. I haven't seen anything quite like this yet in my searching -- thanks for any ideas you've got! I did see an idea for data validation -- to essentially add a text label below the group that displayed all the values added -- i think this could work, but then if they need to make a correction, they need to find the right page and change it rather than reviewing the entries directly. thank you! jess

Ok - I see what you are saying. But, I can't change the field type because I was using an existing field -- i think that boolean is irrelevant (and confusing). So then - i tried to a new field and then using the field mapper -- but that didn't work either. Then, i remembered this: the due date field is new since this geoevent service was created. and even though i had added it to the geoevent definitions i was using for the inputs, etc --- the output service (Update a Feature Service) didn't know about my new duedate field. BUT - i don't know how to fix that without recreating the output service. Anyways -- removing this output, deleting the corresponding output service, recreating it that service, then reconfiguring my geoevent service fixed the use. The field calculator as originally designed worked as expected. oy!
