Hi Matt, Did you ever find a solution to this? I'm having the same issue.

WMTS services are currently not supported in Collector but are supported in ArcGIS Online. The WMTS's I have tried in collected do not work which makes no sense to me as they are using an ArcGIS Online map...

Hello, We have a shared folder that has various map templates in this format: A0_Landscape.mxd, A0_Portrait.mxd, A1_Landscape.mxd, A1_Portrait.mxd, A2_Landscape.mxd, A2_Portrait.mxd, A3_Landscape.mxd, A3_Portrait.mxd, A4_Landscape.mxd, A4_Portrait.mxd This is so colleagues can change the map size according to their needs. When we want to change the template we use the 'Change Layout' button on the 'Layout' toolbar. However, when changing from portrait to landscape the map template shifts upwards and is no longer located in the print layout page! The image on the left below is a snipping of what happens. The template should be located in the print layout box. It also messes up the 'Page and Print Setup' box with these horizontal lines as shown below on the right. The workaround so far is to change the page orientation first and then do the change layout. We don't think this was a problem in 10.0. I know it is not a big problem but it is bizarre and slightly annoying as we are trying to make ArcMap as user-friendly as possible to our colleagues who only use GIS infrequently. Has anyone else come across this problem? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks, Holly

Hi Amy, I'm afraid I can't help, this was 2 years ago and I can't for the life of me remember! Try converting the raster to a .tif or something else?

I have just worked out how to solve this! Change the transparency to 1% and the lines export correctly! So strange ArcMap...

I have this same problem when exporting to pdf. Some lines appear, but others disappear. They have been exported as in the thumbnail preview panel in the pdf, the lines are there! They just don't show in the large page... very strange. I am using data driven pages, does that make any difference? Any one have any ideas?

I managed to get it working with the help of customer services. I did not have the correct raster format. ArcScan works with a basic license but you need to enable to extension in Customize> Extenstions. ESRIs documentation has a few conflicting sentences about ArcScan so when I raised this with customer services they said they would update the documentation across the board. Hope that helps someone!

Hi all, I have been reading up on Esri Maps for Office and I think it could potentially be useful for my workflow. However, I would like to know if maps from excel can be shared to my companys internal server? Or does it only connect to ArcGIS Online? Thanks Holly

I have tried all those pages, but I don't think it is available at Basic level even though some of you documentation suggests it is. I have raised this issue with my local office and hopefully they can give me a definite answer.
