Hi Chris, Thanks for the suggestion, the republishing worked for us too. But it keeps failing after regular intervals of few days. Republishing the service again and again is not working for us. Could you please let us know if you have an additional thought to avoid this issue.

Hi, We too have the same scenario. Error: Underlying DBMS error [ORA-01795: maximum number of expressions in a list is 1000 We see this error once in two/three weeks and after this lot of errors consequently logged like 'General geodatabse error occured', 'Error: Invalid query' etc. As mentioned by Cyient NAM , restarting the service works, however, any reason and work around for this problem as we don't want this kind of behaviour in production systems. Hello, I am new to iOS development. I have few queries 1. We are planning to develop an app with OFFLINE editing capabilities. From online help, i understood that we should generate geodatabase from the sync enabled feature service. What is symbology used by the app while rendering the data in client device. Would the symbology be same as that of the map service or randomly draws some symbology (the way it does when we load feature class in ArcMap)? 2. User would like to load the images into the app. Can we store images from iOS device into the one of the fileds of the feature service layer? I read about attachments; it may serve the purpose partially as the attachments will be not synced if the app is closed before sync operation. (read from online help). Did you also release IWorkspaceName, iFeatureWorkspace? Use interfaces instead of classes use IShapefileWorkspaceFactory factory = new ShapefileWorkspaceFactoryClass(); instead of ShapefileWorkspaceFactory factory = new ShapefileWorkspaceFactory(); Alos, release IShapefileWorkspaceFactory I am not sure, may work.

Hi, I am developing an ArcGIS Engine 10.1 based application. I have to display only couple of fields visible to the customer for editing and the remaining fields are edited internally by the application. I have created a map document using ArcMap and set the visibility of fields in 'Fields' tab of 'Layer Properties' dialog in ArcMap. The ArcMap Attribute Editor displays only the visible fields for editing which is expected. I have used the same mxd in ArcGIS Engine based application and the Engine Attribute Editor displays all fields ( does not honor visible property) for editing. Out of curiosity, I have checked the 'Identify' command in Engine and this respects the visible property. Is this the expected behavior or a bug. Thanks in advance.

Hi, These are called Dockable windows. Below link will help if requirement is to hide/show the Catalog/Search windows. There is a sample code and you simply need to input proper GUID/ProgID for Catalog/Search windows. http://help.arcgis.com/en/sdk/10.0/arcobjects_net/componenthelp/index.html#/IDockableWindow_Interface/0023000000nq000000/
