This would be extremely useful for creating views for zones with fairly precise boundaries. I know using Python you can update the view definition on the service and I have had some success with basic geometries via that route. That said, I ran against limitations in the size of the AOI geometry and incomplete support for multipolygon geometries.

Stunning omission from AGOL functionality IMO. Iterating and updating layers in longer term projects is made sooooo much more tedious by needing to apply customized symbols manually every time a layer in a web map is replaced with an updated version.

Yes, please do bring back the ability to replace characters in the entire table with a blank as is available in ArcMap. We sometimes have to eliminate all special characters in a table in all the fields. This is one step in ArcMap, but "calculating" a replace in multiple fields is too time consuming. @DavidRunneals2 is correct - Google Analytics has been added for apps that have migrated to the new configuration experience (Attachment Viewer, Category Gallery, Interactive Legend, Media Map, Minimalist, Nearby, and Zone Lookup, as well as the new app 3D Viewer). The What's New in Configurable Apps blog has more information on this feature. If you implement this in a configurable app please let us know any feedback you have on it. Thank you, -Peter

Hi , I agree about spell proofing tables and would like to extend the idea to spell checking areas such as the label in symbology - which affects the legend in a layout. I have been caught out by typos in this area - often quite late in the day. I can see meta data and text boxes are proofed, would be great to extend it to all text entry points. Thanks

I also require this functionality. It's a Batch editor so it should support the selection of multiple features individually.

Excuse any confusion on my part but this still sounds like it requires some premium services, such as Tracker or Navigator licenses, yes? "If you sign in with a Viewer user type and the member has been assigned a Tracker premium add-on license then they can track." So this isn't a solution to the original problem that tracking was removed from Collector and we now have to pay for tracking, but an app that integrates workflows together, but still requires any separate premium licenses? At least that's what I get from reading the blog post. I'm still interested to see how one app will work with all our workflows, as one of our frustrations has been getting seasonal workers used to signing into and using multiple apps, so from that aspect this sounds interesting. But to track field workers you still need licenses for Tracker, so it's not really a solution of providing free breadcrumb tracking to field apps. You still need to pay for Tracker to track people correct?

Many times data is collected manually without the use of GPS and thus, coordinates are not recorded in the attributes. I have not found a good way to calculate coordinates in ArcGIS Online, at least in the Analysis tools. It would be really useful if the 'Live Mode' for the Location tool in Map Viewer Beta could snap to existing data layers to get the true coordinates of existing data.
