I have an arcade expression symbolizing a feature (valve) and related table (valve inspection) join. I created an arcade expression to symbolize on the map based on inspection date being within 14 months of today: IIF(DateDiff(now(), $feature.InspectionDate, 'months') < 14, "Last Inspection Within 14 Months", "Last Inspection > 14 Months") Works great, except it's symbolizing all the records (thousands of them) from the previous years. Is there additional expressions I can include to only look at the most recent inspection date, and determine if that is within 14 months of "now"?

Only thing I can think to do is host the feature in AGOL, where I can create "live" joins; then, figure out a way to add it to a Portal map that can be edited in the field, without having to create an AGOL account for the field user and without sharing the feature on AGOL with the public.

I set up an Integromat integration to send an email whenever a new point is added to a hosted feature layer via Field Maps. Is it possible to also set up an Integromat integration that would update an attribute field in the point feature ("inspection complete"), if a record was added to its "inspection" related table? Or, are there any other means to have Integromat update a specific attribute of a feature?

I have a hosted feature, with two related tables, in Portal 10.8.1. Since I'm unable to perform in-memory joins in ArcMap or Pro, to then publish to Portal, and our version of Portal (10.8.1) does not have the "Create Results as hosted feature layer view" option, I turned to AGOL... I created a map and added the feature to the map via Add layer from Web, entering the rest URL of the feature in Portal. From there, I attempted to join the feature to one of its related tables. I can perform the join, but the "Create results as a hosted feature layer view" option is grayed-out, and I cannot select it. This would be fine, if I didn't need to have the join view update whenever a new record was entered. Any ideas of why I can't create the view (is it because the hosted feature doesn't live in AGOL?) or any ideas of how I can create a live, joined view of the data?

That was my initial approach, but I've been unsuccessful in launching the Survey123 app, from Field maps, and having the Survey123 form populated with the existing feature's data.

Thanks! I'm assuming this is something that runs on the server? I'm just a "high-level" end user...I don't do much much on the server-side of things, but could get out GIS-IT dept. involved if need be.

Not sure I follow your suggestion... Are you suggesting moving the "Investigated Yes/No" field to the related table, and making it required? If so, since that info is stored on the related table, I don't know how I'd be able to symbolize the point based on that (since Portal 10.8.1 doesn't have the ability to create hosted feature layer views.

It's an option, but not the preferred one. I've used that technique in the past, and when a user ads a related record, they inevitably forget to modify the point feature as well... no matter how many times they're reminded about that step.

Need to use the "response time" attribute value (calculated from the difference between on-scene time and dispatched time) in a dashboard. I used arcade to display it in the feature's pop-up, but I need a way to show "average response time" in a dashboard. Points can either be added via a Web App or via Field Maps, so a solution in either/both of those formats would be great.

In either the Web AppBuilder, Field maps, or in a Dashboard (Portal 10.8.1), is there a way to auto-populate a feature's "Response Time" attribute field, based on two other date fields ("Report Date/Time" and "On-Scene Date/Time") any time a new feature is added?

Looking for ideas on how to no longer have a point visible on a map once it has a related record... I have web mapping app that allows dispatchers to add point features whenever a natural gas problem is reported (damage, leak, smell of gas, low pressure, etc.). Once the crew arrives on scene, the dispatcher edits the point's "on-scene" time. If the incident involves a gas leak, the dispatcher also edits the point's "gas off" time, so we can calculate how long the gas leaked. Once the crew adds a related investigation record to the point, I'd like for the point to disappear from the dispatchers map, since they really don't have anything else to do with the incident at that point. I've thought about doing some filtering based on report type, on-scene times and/or gas off times (not being null), but there are too many variables for me to do that - a report of "low pressure" could be because someone cut your service, which would have a "gas off" timestamp; or, the low pressure could be because your appliance is messed up, so there wouldn't be a "gas off" timestamp captured since no gas was leaking. Best I can come up with is to filter the points on the map based on a time duration (only show points with a creation date/time within the last X hours).

Sorry, should have said web app instead of web form... I've tried entering time in a 24-hr format (13:00) or in a "1:00pm" format, but the attribute editor in the web form wants it, specifically, in an hh:mm:ss AM/PM format

Is there a way to change the formatting of the time field in a date/time attribute? I built a web form for dispatchers to enter incidents. They then go back and edit the point once dispatched units are on scene, then again when the incident is under control. Dispatchers want the ability to simply enter time in 24-hr. format (13:52, instead of the web app's 1:52:00 PM) format).

Is it possible to join two Hosted Feature Layer Views? When I try, the "Create results as hosted feature layer view" option is grayed out, and I'm not able to check it. I have a point feature (problem report) and two related tables (one for investigations, and one for repairs). I'd like to combine all three into a single hosted feature view, so I can symbolize based on inspection and repair dates: if the feature's investigation date is blank, symbolize the feature as a red point. If the feature's investigation date is not blank and the repair date is blank, symbolize the feature as an orange point. If the feature's repair date is not blank, symbolize the feature as a green point. I can join the problem report to the investigation table, then perform another join of the problem report to the repair table; however, I'd like to combine all three. I need the ability, for our dispatchers who initially add the problem reports to the map, to no longer see ones that have an investigation associated with them, and eliminates the stacking of points on top of each other for the various layers.

I've tried, but either I'm not doing something correctly, or the system (ArcGIS Enterprise Portal 10.8.1) isn't configured correctly. When I create the join, in Map Viewer Classic, I don't get the option to "Create Results as Hosted Feature Layer View", and the join is just a static view of when I created it. Any related records that are added afterwards don't show in the join.
