It doesn't appear to be working for me. I'm using WAB 2.1 as well and this pertains to a secured service that I have (in which I'm using a token to access that data).

I am thinking that it was looking for the location of the widget javascript for the left dockable panel and couldn't find it.

Because if you don't have that directory, you wouldn't have the panels folder that houses the LDockablePanel widget files.

I'm trying to export records from the attribute table within my application and it appears that the filter expression that I ran on the attribute table (using the filter option) is not respected on the output. Has anyone else encountered this issue?

Sounds like it might be a missing comma, semicolon, or something else. Can you post your code or PM me the code?

Doug, I don't know if this is what you're after, but I added the left dockable panel after the zoom slider in my config JSON. Here's an example of the code that I have displaying the legend widget within that panel: "groups": [ { "visible": false, "panel": { "uri": "themes/JewelryBoxTheme/panels/LDockablePanel/Panel", "position": { "left": 0, "top": 40, "bottom": 0, "width": 360, "relativeTo": "browser" } }, "maxWidgets": 1, "id": "_19", "widgets": [ { "name": "Legend", "label": "Legend", "version": "2.1", "uri": "widgets/Legend/Widget", "config": "configs/Legend/config_Legend.json", "id": "widgets_Legend_Widget" } ], "label": "Group_0" } ],

You'll want to go into your server/apps/ directory (underneath where you have installed the web appbuilder files). You should see a series of numbers pertaining to the apps that you already have within WAB DE 2.1. For each of these, you'll want to replace the LocalLayer entry in the "widgets" directory. Depending on the previous iteration of the LocalLayer widget, you may have to redo the config for the latest iteration.

Did you change the group id to the one that you are needing? The specific lines of code to change (for the portal reference) in the widget.js file would be as follows: lines 35, 51, 123 Other than that, it should work with AGOL.

I took a look at the latest release (2.1) and noticed that there is not the capability (at least through the GUI) to select which layers to display within the legend. Is there something that I'm missing? I also looked through the widget.js file for the legend and it looks like this wasn't implemented either. Any thoughts?

This issue here was that we were referencing the organization's URL instead of http://arcgis.com. Making the change allowed for the access to another portal.

I know that a while back individuals were asking about the possibility of hiding some of these layers added via this widget from the legend widget. Has any progress been made on this? It would be beneficial to have a similar functionality to what is within AGOL (hide from legend popup) via the pre-existing GUI interface.
