What about 'jumping' to the next section but still having the information filled in from the previous section? I find that any data previously entered will get erased on a hidden question.

Hello, I was curious to know if there are any surveys with functionality that links back to other places in the survey. One example would be an answer to a question that jumps to a different area in the survey when selected. Thank you, Kara

Hello, I love the pages functionality, but there does not seem to be a back button to flip back and forth. The dots at the top allow me to go back and forth, but it is difficult to tap the correct one. I have attached a photo of my survey from a phone to help better explain. There would be great value in the ability to directly print the surveys off of Survey123 Connect. Please let me know your thoughts on these suggestions. Thank you for your time.

Hello, Are there any better ways to display various files when they are shared in groups? I have a survey I shared with a group, but it comes with multiple files (a feature layer, web map, etc.) Is there a way to hide certain files? Will any functionality be lost if I delete some of the files (excluding the feature layer). Thanks!

I figured it out! it was just syntax/formatting. Anyway the generic template would be: if(${var1} < ${varA}*2 and ${var2} < ${varA}*2 and ${var3} < ${varA}*2, 'True', 'False') This statement says if variables 1, 2, and 3 all are less than variable A * 2, the return is true. If any one of those variables are greater than variable A * 2 the the return is false.

My understanding is that the name is the variable name. That would be what you put in the choices tab as well for list_name if you were creating choices. The label is what the name shows up in the survey as. Each name must be unique, but labels can repeat.

I figured it out. It was partially the order I was putting the calculations in (in relation to the variables) and the other part was an issue with nested groups. At least for me, for the max() function to work the variables all had to be in a the same group if they were in a group. The max() function also had to be after all the other variables it was taking into account, which makes sense.

I want to write an if statement that determines whether a scale is calibrated properly. I have been trying different 'if statements' and none of them seem to be working in excel. The if statement in English: If any of the 4 corners have a difference of 0.2 compared to the center, the scale needs to be re-calibrated. I have attached what I have been working with so far. Lines 184-203 are the relevant lines to this situation. I am having trouble with the syntax. If someone could show me how the structure of an If/OR statement works in excel or an If/AND statement it would be greatly appreciated. I can't seem to find a concrete example online. I get a validation error whenever I try to run the survey.

Hi Derek, Could you clarify a bit? I know how to get to the hosted feature layer in the map viewer but I didn't realize I could delete rows off of the attribute table? Would you mind explaining that process? I may be misunderstanding. Thank you, Kara

Hello, I have a range of numbers (each is a variable or name) in one big group (each weight is part of a group within one large group). I need to select either the last value or the maximum value from a group of variables out of this big group. Either would work. I know there is the max() function, but it does not seem to work. This is what I have in the calculation field: max(${AggScaleReading20},${AggScaleReading19}) Either 'TypeError' shows up or more specifically: 'TypeError: Cannot call method 'forEach' of undefined in expression' I have tried changing the type to see if that changed anything and it does not solve the issue. I could not find any similar problems online so I am posting mine here. Thanks, Kara

Hello, I have a question with a list of choices to choose from. When someone chooses other, I would like an additional text box to show up. I have had success working with yes or no questions in the context of the 'relevant' field, but for some reason with select_one [list choice], it won't work. I have tried using apostrophes and quotations, so I don't think it's syntax. Just in case, I have attached a picture of it. Thanks, Kara

Hello, Is there any way I can edit/remove data from the attribute table/map generated from Survey123? I can't seen to find a solution besides downloading a CSV file and uploading to a new map. I have some test submissions in my data that I would like to delete. Thanks, Kara
