Hi there, When creating a client-side FeatureLayer, you must set the layer's schema correctly in the layer constructor especially if the source is not set. You cannot just set fields schema to wild card. You need to set the fields schema. Since you are creating a new client-side feature layer from query results, try changing your code as shown below and see if it fixes the problem. const featureSet = results.features;
const layer = new FeatureLayer({
source: featureSet,
geometryType: featureSet.geometryType,
objectIdField: "OBJECTID",
fields: featureSet.fields,
renderer: selSketchRenderer,
//spatialReference: results.features[0].geometry.spatialReference
});

Hi there Joel, Thank you very much for reporting this issue! So yes we did change the MapView.goTo() behavior to go to the entire extent of the given geometry while considering the view.rotation. At 4.28, goTo looked liked this We changed this behavior to show the whole extent With this behavior change, we introduced the bug you describe. I will create an issue to fix this bug. Thank you very much for putting the workaround here too. I will update you once we have a fix.

Hi there, The smartMapping colorRamps return array of colors so you'd have to pass the colors to the fromColors to toColors. At 4.29, we introduced esri/smartMapping/raster/support/colorRamps and they are used to create colorRamps for raster renderers. This sample shows how to use it: https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/latest/sample-code/sandbox/?sample=layers-imagery-renderer

Hi there, You can watch FeatureTable.highlightIds and zoom to features or display popup as it is changes. In this codepen, we are zooming to the selected features: https://codepen.io/U_B_U/pen/QWoYBrR?editors=100 You can use MapView.openPopup() to display popups. Hope this helps, -Undral

So you need to highlight features using FeatureLayerView.highlight method. Please take a look this codepen: https://codepen.io/U_B_U/pen/PoLVeVq?editors=1000 This sample could be useful: https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/latest/sample-code/highlight-features-by-geometry/

Guessing the issue where you are creating the UniqueValueRenderer. Please take a look at this doc and make sure you are setting everything right: https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/latest/visualization/data-driven-styles/unique-types/

Hi there It is accepted and should work. Do you have a reproducible case so I can take a look? For example the following query returns this result from the service. const summaryQuery = layer.createQuery();
summaryQuery.set({
where: "(COMMON is not null)",
outFields: ["*"],
groupByFieldsForStatistics: ['COMMON', 'BOTANICAL'],
orderByFields: ['SpeciesCount desc'],
outStatistics: [{
statisticType: "count",
onStatisticField: "COMMON",
outStatisticFieldName: "SpeciesCount"
}],
num: 5
});

Hi there, The component you are referring to is only available in MapViewer. You'd have to create your own in your JS API app.

Can you share your query parameters? I am guessing that is where the issue is. The code above does not help to narrow down the issue. You can open the network request tab and see if the service is returning any results for your query since you are issuing the query on the layer.

Hi there, You can just pass the graphicsLayer.graphics to MapView.goTo. This codepen shows it working: https://codepen.io/U_B_U/pen/gOEqzQO?editors=1000
