This is disappointing. In previous versions we were able to Create a FillSymbol and fill it with an ImageBrush and it would fill the symbol. In this version, the PictureFillSymbol tiles rather than stretches to fill. This seems to me more like a bug than a missing feature.

I had some success creating a PictureFillSymbol and resizing it when the map changes, but it does not look that great when the map is zooming, and it is not 100% reliable. It would be nice if there was a 'stretch' option on the PictureFillSymbol. Is there a better way that I could do this?

I apologize, I see this was answered in another post: var progress = new Progress<GeometryEditStatus>(); progress.ProgressChanged += progress_ProgressChanged; var geometry = await MapView.Editor.RequestShapeAsync(DrawShape.Polyline, null, progress); progress.ProgressChanged -= progress_ProgressChanged;

Adding an "a" in the fourth position of the SIC code should return an anticipated/planned symbol with a dotted line but returns the same symbol as when a "p" is in the position. MilitaryMessage message = new MilitaryMessage("1", MilitaryMessageType.PositionReport, MilitaryMessageAction.Update, new List<MapPoint>(){new MapPoint(0,0)}); message.SicCode = "SFGAEVAA--"; await MapView.LayersLoadedAsync(); MessageLayer.ProcessMessage(message);

We would like to track how many points the user has selected when adding a polyline to the map, in previous versions of the WPF runtime there was a VertexAdded event with the Draw control that we could use. PropertyChanged on the Editor does not give us this information.

We would like to add a vertex to the editor from code behind. We would like the first point to be fixed and the user select the second point. We are unable to get the AddVertex command to execute. Task t = this.Editor.RequestShapeAsync(Esri.ArcGISRuntime.Controls.DrawShape.Polygon); this.Editor.AddVertex.Execute(new MapPoint(0, 0)); We receive an ArgumentException was unhandled by user code, "Cannot execute command."

Using the other method in the previous version we would get a symbol returned with an echelon and/or mobility indicator. It looks like to get the symbol we need we will have to pass in the first 10 characters of the symbol ID, then, get another image with the mobility or other modifiers and build the symbol ourselves. It would be nice if the GetSymbolImage was implemented so we can get a fully formed symbol from the function with the full symbol ID

No matter what symbolID I pass in, I only get an unknown image returned. When I use the military layer, the symbol is rendered correctly. This is something that we have seen often since 10.2, maybe before on multiple machines of different configurations. The above screen shot was from your sample app, and I can reproduce in my sample app as well: <esri:MapView x:Name="MyMapView" WrapAround="True" MouseMove="MyMapView_MouseMove"> <esri:Map> <esri:ArcGISTiledMapServiceLayer ServiceUri="http://services.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/rest/services/World_Topo_Map/MapServer" /> <esri:GraphicsLayer ID="GraphicsLayer" /> </esri:Map> <esri:MapView.Overlays> <esri:OverlayItemsControl> <Border x:Name="mapTip" Background="White" BorderBrush="Black" BorderThickness="2" Padding="4" HorizontalAlignment="Left" VerticalAlignment="Top" Margin="4" Visibility="Collapsed" esri:ViewBase.ViewOverlayAnchor="{Binding Geometry}"> <TextBlock Text="{Binding Attributes[ID], StringFormat='ID: {0}'}" /> </Border> </esri:OverlayItemsControl> </esri:MapView.Overlays> </esri:MapView> I am using Windows 8.1, Samsung laptop, Intel HD Graphics 4000 card, screen resolution is 1600x900
