We are trying to run ArcGIS Pro 2.5 with concurrent use licenses (manager 2019.2) on laptops with direct access. We applied the environmental variables (e.g. Variable Name: FLEXLM_TIMEOUT Variable Value: 10000000 and Variable Name: FNP_IP_PRIORITY Variable Value: 6) to all laptops but a dozen or so still won't connect. We had Esri tech support set up the ports correctly with license manager and they think it could be anti-virus blocking ports but we are all running the same anti-virus and some computers work. We re imaged one of the offending laptop to the same system settings the users of the laptops that work correctly and it still is not working. UPDATE: While writing this we stumbled on the solution but it took almost two weeks of working on this full time and trying to find alternative solutions. Hopefully Esri can fix this error and associate this fix with ArcGIS Pro so it's easier to find. Four Questions:   Based on the below statement (image):   The price is based on “Developer Subscription” however; our application will be in Business and Production. (1) Do we meet the license term?   It’s free for 1M accesses per month. (2) What happens (and the cost) if we need 1++M accesses per month?   Based on the below statement (image), we don’t need to pay (Geocode/Place Search APIs)… (3) if we don’t store any queried results into our persistent storage (database or file). Users are not allowed to change back and forth from advanced to basic licenses at my organization. When we used desktop we gave users a batch file where they could run in advanced mode but when they re-opened it would be set to basic. What solutions does ArcGIS Pro have for this? ... View more

I am using ModelBuilder in Pro 2.3.1. When I connect a series of tools (spatial joins) and try to delete the extra fields using the "delete field" tool from the final layer at the end only the field alias's show up in the list of field names which leads to identical names (can't tell which Object ID to select). When I run the tool I get the field names i saw in the list "don't exist" errors when running the model (because it's looking at the actual field names). Bizarre. Anyone have a workaround? I tried creating a new model to only delete fields from the final layer and same problem. I have tried closing, saving then restarting.....still does not work. ... View more
