Thanks for your help. I have installed only the SQL Server 2012 Native Client. Yes, the error happen after I left the PC locked for a certain period of time.

I have setup a geodatabase on SQL Server 2014 and then installed ArcMap 10.4.1 on a client PC. The ArcMap can open the feature classes and tables on SQL Server, but once the PC screen is locked, after unlock, the ArcMap prompts communication link error but the connection between PC and SQL Server is normal. Anyone have ideas?

I have set a Portal server and created some users but I want the users to access the maps, apps and layers in their groups. Is it possible to hide Gallery, Map Viewer, Scene Viewer from Portal from users?

I am working for creating an address locator for the addresses in a city. The locator works for English addresses e.g. 12 Wong Chuk Hang Road, Hong Kong but not for Chinese addresses. Usually, English address is in format <Floor No.> <Estate/Building> <Street> <District> <City> <Country> but Chinese address is opposite, which is in format <Country> <City> <District> <Street> <Estate/Building> <Floor No.>. Are there any address locator style or other ways in ArcMap to cater such address format?

I have installed ArcGIS Portal 10.5.1 and set the basemap of a town as the default basemap on the Portal. The basemap displays fine on the map viewer. I have also maintained the floor plans of the schools in the town. Now, I wants the floors plans of the schools when user zooms to the schools, besides, user can select the floor no. to be displayed. Are there any ways or widgets to do so?

Thanks for your reply. I have found out the root cause. I have setup rewrite rule on IIS. The rule forwards all requests containing the keyword proxy to other server, so some Portal requests are also forwarded.

Thanks for your reply. I have found the following entry in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts: 10.90.65.67 bbb aaa aaa.yyy.com It is likely the entry lead to the problem. Are there any ways to modify Portal hostname after installation?

I have set up a Portal 10.5.1 server and federated an ArcGIS server on it. But I wants to create a map app, the browser just hangs without any response, it seems that the builder is accessing resources from fast.fonts.net. Are there any ways to fix the problem?

I have set up a Portal 10.5.1 server, I have also federated the ArcGIS Server 10.5.1 to the Portal and created maps on Portal. When I created an app from the map by WAB in IE, the Web AppBuilder just hung, the IE reported the following JS errors: Cannot retrieve the property 'value' from undefined or null The object does not support the property or method 'startsWith' But WAB works in Firefox and Chrome. Are there anything missing or I need to configure?
