@gkatsamb You might also want to look into the Incident Analysis Widget. That doesn't require the SpatialAnalysisTools service and might fit your needs.

The Analysis widget allows you to create buffers, so you might want to look into that. I use it to create a buffer around layers but I believe you can use it to create a buffer around a point as well. (Then you just have to enable the SpatialAnalysisTools gp service from your server manager if you are on ArcGIS Enterprise, not sure how it works in AGOL). The main thing to watch out for with using that as a solution is that only Creator or Insight Analyst user types can use the SpatialAnalysisTools service that the buffer depends on. For an organization with lots of users, this can create a problem, since the Creator license is more expensive than the Field Editor or Viewer licenses.

Hi @JonEmch or @BenCoubrough , what do you mean by "accessible online"? We have a portal that is accessible when using our company internet/vpn, but the portal is not available to those outside of our network. Is there a way to connect our online but internal portal environment to PowerBI? Perhaps something similar to how we would need to allow the survey123 site to access our portal in order to use the Survey123 Report functionality? We are on Enterprise 10.8.1 by the way. Thanks! I've enabled the option to allow users to create new feature(s) from existing feature(s) but I can't figure out how to actually copy a feature when I then go into the app and try to actually use/test that functionality. Could someone provide a screen shot or give an explanation of what I should be doing to copy/paste a pre-existing feature? I only see the option to create new features in the layer, not copy existing features. As a note, I am using Web App Builder for Developers version 2.18 Thanks, Blythe Spendlove @AlixVezina @NikHenryOz

As an update to this: A co-worker was able to install Collector from the install file we got online, so I compared apps with her and figured out that my computer didn't know how to read the main install file. I am coming back to this after a couple months but I believe it was Nodejs that I had to install on my computer, in order to install Collector.

I am trying to publish a feature service from ArcGIS Pro using version 2.6. In the ArcGIS Pro Project I am able to change the legend patch shape, but once I publish the service, the circle and oval shapes that I had chosen when publishing the service go back to polygon shapes in both the map legend as well as the feature service’s default drawing tool. Even before publishing the service, in the create feature template, the default tool is not set correctly. This problem is not seen in ArcMap 10.6.1 I am not sure if this is two separate issues (1. feature service legend patch shape not getting published, and 2. default tool in feature template not getting set correctly in ArcGIS Pro) or if they are related to the same underlying issue. For more information on this problem, I am in an ArcGIS Enterprise 10.8.1 environment and using ArcPro 2.6. I am referencing data in a database that is referenced by the server (not copying the data to the portal) Kory Kramer

James Tedrick As a side note, a co-worker on my team did test this on the Beta 2.9 version and it worked in our portal. And as an update, it turns out that occasionally they can log in, but often they cannot. Trying to troubleshoot now whether this is a vpn or Survey123 problem or a combination of things...

James Tedrick I noticed some updates were made to PKI authentication. Were any existing authentication methods for Enterprise decommissioned with this update? Our users are running into issues logging in via VPN with this latest update. When they try to add a portal they get an error message that says "Unexpected" - and when they try to log in again they just get a spinning circle. I have been able to replicate this issue. Feel free to email me at bspendlove@socalgas.com for more specific information.

Thanks James! I just figured it out this morning and you were right that it was not related to the relationship properties. It seems my root problem was that instead of referencing the parent project boundary layer in the "form_id" column in settings, and then getting fancy with pulling parent data into child repeats, I needed to create a form that only referenced the child record. Otherwise it kept creating a new parent feature every time I submitted the survey, even when I made all the parent data read-only in the form. To keep the parent-child relationship intact now that I am not using nested repeats, I just used the custom url to pull the GLOBALID field from the project boundary (parent) and made it equal to the GUID in the survey for that child record. Thanks very much for the help! Blythe

Evan Olivier Doug Browning Thank you both very much for your valuable input! After lots of troubleshooting I figured out that my root problem was that instead of referencing the parent project boundary layer in the "form_id" column in settings, and then getting fancy with repeats, I needed to create a form that only referenced the child record. Otherwise it would create a new project boundary (parent) feature every time I submitted a survey to add a child record, even if I didn't give the user an option to change anything in the parent layer. To keep the parent-child relationship intact, I pulled the GLOBALID field from the project boundary in the map (the custom url launches from the project boundary [parent] pop up), and made it equal to the GUID in the survey for that child record. Thanks again very much for the help! Best, Blythe Spendlove

Thank you! I was using a simple relationship, I will play around with it as a composite relationship and see if that fixes the problem. Thanks again!

Hi, I have been trying to implement pretty much the same workflow you described above, but between a polygon feature service (parent) and a point (child) that I want to be created in Survey123, NOT Collector. I have gotten it to work such that when they click the custom url in Collector, data is populated into the survey, but when I go back to Collector and look at the relationship tables, the child knows it is related to the parent but the parent does not know it is related to the child. I thought this might have to do with the Notification setting for the Relationship Class, but I checked and the setting is set to "Both, so I'm not quite sure what I am doing wrong here. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks! Blythe Spendlove
