I was looking for a similar solution. I tried the extract data, but it only gives me an option to export layers in my map service, not an GP created layers.

Did you ever figure this out? I have a web app that executes routing and LOS tools and I want to export the results of these tools to a kml/kmz file.

I have a python script tool that operates on raster data. It runs fine on its own, but when I use it in a model and feed it raster data from another process, I get the error: Traceback (most recent call last): File "D:\Scripts\dz.py", line 531, in <module> BFList.append(descObj.catalogPath) AttributeError: DescribeData: Method catalogPath does not exist

Wondering if anyone has any insight on laptop configurations based on your own or others you work with. We are looking to order some new laptops Dell Precision 7720 for our team. Any advantage of Xeon vs i7 (Intel Core i7-7920HQ vs. Xeon E3-1575M or Xeon E3-1575M) laptop used for ArcGIS desktop and runtime development and everyday use of ArcGIS Desktop & Pro running models? Possibly running ArcGIS Server. Anyone using the latest Alienware laptop with i7-7820HK and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 with 8GB GDDR5X. Wondering if a gaming laptop has any advantage over a workstation. And any advantage to a Nvidia Quadro P5000 w/16GB GDDR5 over a Nvidia Quadro P4000 w/8GB GDDR5? Obviously more memory, but does ArcGIS Desktop & Pro take advantage of the onboard memory for any processing that would make it any more efficient now or in the next 5 years as that is about how often we refresh our laptops.

The link Local Server geoprocessing tools supportstates "in addition to providing the same capabilities as in the previous release, Local Server provides additional tools", but takes you to the 100.0 Java SDK page. What are the additional capabilities in 100.0.1 from what was released when 100.0 was released in November 2016. Is there a matrix that shows the additions from 10.2.4, 100.0, 100.0.1?

A co-worker was converting a binary raster using Float to Raster Tool and with header specifying XLLCORNER, YLLCORNER corner of image, he assumed data had to be written out in row major format from SW to NW, but that flipped the raster. Why specify SW corner of data in header if data is written from NW. Is this from some past convention that carries through to present day? Why not specify header with XULCORNER, YULCORNER? Or with SW Corner as origin then expect the data to be written to file from SW to NW in row major format.

I am trying to create an ArcMap add-in using ArcObects for Java 10.5. I want the GUI to be created with JavaFX components. I am using Eclipse (Mars Version) as my IDE. I see the ESRI Template to create an add-in project as well as another option to create a JavaFX project. Since I need to create an add-in with JavaFX components, which project should I start with and how do I modify the project so I can utilize the other functionality. That is, when I use ESRI templates to create an add-in project, how then do I configure the project to utilize the JavaFX components. Or if I create a JavaFX project, how then do I configure the project as an ArcMap Add-in? Any examples out there?

Why does MessageProcessor in Runtime for Java 10.2.4 expect the tag to be <messages> and not <geomessages>. I am trying to display an XML Message written with the Military Template toolbox, but the app would not process the XML unless I changed <geomessages> to <messages>.

I created a model using "Raster To Geodatabase (multiple)" tool. I am trying to copy the raster result of my Observer points GP Tool in runtime to another GDB, so I am using another GP tool. My thought is to append the temporary result from runtime to my other database which would unfortunately also be saved in a temporary location, but I plan to then use a java Files.copy method to copy the entire GDB to another location. Sounds weird and confusing, but I am looking for way to keep my results and have them be copied to an existing GBD outside of runtime's temp location and runtime has no build in copy method. Using just the Java SDK Files.copy will just overwrite the GDB. I have not found any other way to get my temp results to persist in another location. I receive the error message: com.esri.core.io.EsriServiceException: Bad request: GET GPServer/AppendResult/execute Dont know how to write special parameter 'InputRaster' of type 'JSON Array' with value '{"format":"tif","url":"http://127.0.0.1:50000/6T1dcw/arcgis/rest/services/ObserverPointsInline10.2.gpk/MapServer/jobs/j93d4961d250e4f4e8d162b3899c7d49e"}' at com.esri.core.io.EsriServiceException.fromJson(Unknown Source)

I am looking for a way to access the results so I can copy them to another location specifically to copy features and raster data from the resulting temporary scratch.gdb to another GDB. I thought the download method of this ServerFolder or ServerFile class would help as I have not found another way to do this yet.
