Ok, I see what you mean. In that case there might be a bug in the software, which would need to be logged with tech support so it can get to the proper development team for evaluation and fixing.

I'm not sure what you mean. The default behavior is determined when you add the legend to a layout, you can't set any of this in the map.

Do you have layer order checked on in the legend properties? When that is checked the legend items fall in the same order as the layers and drag/drop doesn't work.

This is available with legend styles introduced in ArcGIS Pro 2.9. With legend styles you can save the visibility checkbox in whatever state you'd like and then use the style to start your legend each time.

Ah, ok. So it sounds like it's just taking a long time to export. If the layout is really large or some settings (like DPI) are set really high this can occur because it takes time to process lots of data. Can you share your export settings?

You can't do this in the default functionality, but you can definitely script it. This thematic map series sample script is a similar example (although it turns layers on/off instead of changing the definition query) and may be a helpful starting point https://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=eba53351ceb84b58b505dec5272e526c

Hi, It looks like you everything right. That's what I had too and it worked for me in the newer version. I can't say for certain, because there might be something else I'm missing, but I think upgrading my fix your issue. It looks like there was a problem in older version of the software that got addressed.

That's not good. What version of ArcGIS Pro are you using? I'm able to get that situation working with my data in ArcGIS Pro 3.0.3. I did however have to double check the page query applied, I thought I had it set but when I looked again it wasn't. Once I made sure it was properly applied I got the desired result. Also, the strings in your page query will need to match exactly. If the capitalization is off the page query won't work because the fields don't match exactly. I've made that mistake before.

Hi! So this is actually working as designed. The grid origin changes where the intervals start, but it doesn't change any of the values. So you can adjust where your interval starts (say 500 instead of 0) but the actual coordinates remain the same. If you want to change the coordinates you'll need to update the coordinate system, as outlined here https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/mapping/properties/define-a-new-coordinate-system.htm

Ah I see now. The exclude layer is empty until you choose which layers to exclude. By default all layers are clipped. You have to manually select which layers you want to exclude from the exclude dropdown. In your picture you are looking at the clip type dropdown, not the exclude dropdown. In the exclude dropdown all the layers are listed and you can check them to exclude them. Once they are checked they'll appear in the dropdown list.

I see how that isn't what you wanted. Sorry! You might be able to do something with Page Queries instead of clipping, but that requires all your data to have a field that matches the name field in the index feature of the map series. It takes more work than clipping, but you can get more control over how things are displayed. Learn more about page queries here: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/layouts/page-queries.htm

This is an interesting problem! You can exclude layers from clipping, which would be helpful here. You could exclude the streets layer with the labels and then you'd get the labels. If you didn't want those streets drawing, you could duplicate the layer and just change the symbology to nothing. Then the labels would appear but not the street symbology. To exclude layers from clipping after Clip to Index feature has been turned on, go to the map properties window by right-clicking the map (not the map frame) in the Contents pane and choose Properties. Then go to the Clip page and select the layers you want to exclude from clipping. Now when you refresh the map series everything except the layers you excluded will be clipped. I hope this helps!
