Get the most out of your exploration budget We hope you enjoyed the webinar, "Mineral Exploration using ArcGIS." For further information, please contact the following Esri staff: • Peter Will: pwill@esri.com • Matthew Ballard: mballard@esri.com Questions and Answers from Live Session Can you collect terrestrial frame pictures with Field Maps directly into an Oriented Imagery Catalog? Yes, feature services with attachments are a supported source of pictures for the Oriented Imagery Catalog. You can also capture pictures using QuickCapture and automatically capture the metadata that enables the use of Oriented Imagery. You can find more information here: Managing and Visualizing Oriented Imagery. Are there plans to integrate Survey123 and Field Maps into a single product? While there is some overlapping functionality, there are no plans to integrate Survey123 and Field Maps into a single product. Can multiple people use offline map editing and load back to the database? Yes, multiple users can take maps offline and sync their edits back to the central database. Do the web maps in ArcGIS Field Maps need to be in a geographic projection, or could you use a UTM projection as well? The coordinate system used by ArcGIS Field Maps is determined by your GNSS receiver. Your map coordinate system is determined by your web map (specifically, the basemap that is uses). What would be the best "criteria" to decide to use Survey123 or Field Maps? Survey123 and Field Maps have overlapping functionality, so for many workflows you may be able to use one or the other. If you require more smart form features, Survey123 has more complex smart forms. If you need to collect and store your devices location, you could use Field Maps. If your end users are looking for a simpler, form-based interface, Survey123 may be the better solution. Whereas collection multiple types of spatial data and when you need a map in the field, Field Maps may be the better solution. We recommend reaching out to discuss the specifics of your workflows. Can Field Maps and ArcGIS Pro work with a Trimble collector? Yes, Field Maps can integrate with Trimble receivers and data collectors. GNSS receivers can also be connected to ArcGIS Pro. You can learn more here: Trimble + Esri. Can you import Survey123 forms into Field Maps? No, Survey123 forms cannot be imported into Field Maps. Are the oriented imagery tools only available in ArcGIS Pro and not ArcMap? Yes, the Oriented Imagery Add-in for ArcGIS Pro is only available for ArcGIS Pro, and will not be made for ArcMap. You can download the add-in from here: Oriented Imagery Add-in for ArcGIS Pro and can find more information on this GitHub repository. Do you have recorded video for this webinar? Yes, the webinar recording can be found here and past webinars can be found here. At one point there was a map shown that had polygons for mapped lithologies plus additional polygons for interpretations. Could you explain the best ways to take polygon data while mapping in the field? You can configure your maps in ArcGIS Pro to include points, lines, and polygons. Each of these data types can be brought into the field with ArcGIS Field Maps and you can create or edit them. You can find more information here: ArcGIS Field Maps Resources. Will ArcGIS Collector still be available? I see that ArcGIS Field Maps is a paid service whereas ArcGIS Collector was free. ArcGIS Field Maps requires the same license as ArcGIS Collector, a Field Worker user type. We will be retiring ArcGIS Collector in December of 2021. You can find more information here: Deprecation Notice for Explorer, Collector, and Tracker. is Field Maps only available through ArcGIS Pro? Any options for ArcMap users? Field Maps works by connecting to ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise. You can work with data that has been published from either ArcMap or ArcGIS Pro. Is there an option to measure dip and dip direction directly from ArcGIS Field Maps instead of using compass or another application? Today, you cannot directly measure these from ArcGIS Field Maps. If you would like to see this feature implemented, we would recommend submitting an idea to the ArcGIS Field Maps Ideas forum. Please also tag the idea with “mining”. Thank you for your time and attention. Be on the lookout for additional mining webinars. Warm regards, The Mining Team

Please view the latest agriculture webinar, "ArcGIS Analytics for Agriculture" which was recorded on March 25, 2021. It features the analytic capabilities of ArcGIS to identify and manage climate risk in order to increase overall crop productivity and demonstrates: How to access ready to use agriculture data for analysis from Esri’s ArcGIS Living Atlas How to use interactive & exploratory modeling to evaluate ‘risk’ for crop production Use of environmental data to build a ‘risk score’ to identify cropland at the greatest risk Select Questions and Answers from the Live Session. What's the link to Living Atlas? The Living Atlas - https://livingatlas.arcgis.com/en/home/ I have ArcGIS Desktop 10.8.1. Is the ArcGIS Pro version described in the webinar an upgrade to my program? If you are on maintenance, no, Pro is included. Otherwise, you would need to upgrade. Can the suitability modeler incorporate additional functions? For example, adding weight to proximity to features (e.g. distance to stream), eliminating parcels of a certain size, or live-generating a cost-surface based on proximity? Yes, the Suitability Modeler allows you to explore the model through queries by creating query expressions. Additionally, changing the weight of model inputs can be carried out via the suitability tab of the Suitability Modeler. Is it possible to write plugins for ArcGIS? We develop precision ag platform and would like to distribute our analytics via esri/arcgis. ArcGIS and specifically ArcGIS Pro, can be extended using the ArcGIS Pro SDK for Microsoft .NET. You can develop add-ins and solution configurations to create a custom Pro UI and user experience for your organization or users. Please reach out to us directly and we can provide you more information on how to proceed. Is the Agriculture indicator available for public-use? The template is publicly available via the Living Atlas however what we illustrated during the webinar was a configuration specific to various agriculture specific parameters. As such, you can download the template and begin to configure your own agriculture indicators. Is there a planned release of ready-to-use deep learning packages to detect different crop types from sentinel images or higher resolution? E.g., the packages that have been recently released on Landsat landcover classification. We are constantly looking for opportunities to develop new deep learning packages and those efforts are very dependent on the availability of imagery and training data to create the models. As such we are always looking for opportunities to work with users who would be willing to collaborate by sharing relevant data. Please reach out to etakow@esri.com if you would like to pursue the development of different crop detection models. There is institutional data such as soil type, weather data, drainage, but what about standardizing data from the various equipment companies. Is there an effort to make that happen? That's an effort that's being tackled by several 3rd parties and Esri partners. We also see this as a necessity within the industry however we are equipment agnostic and continue to work with our various partners to make sure the ArcGIS system can ingest data from the various equipment manufacturers. Please contact etakow@esri.com to follow up. Is there somewhere to download SSURGO data by an area of interest (AOI), like a custom polygon? There are times when my data crosses 2 basins and the SSURGO data from those 2 basins doesn't line up or match. You can download SSURGO data from the following url: https://esri.maps.arcgis.com/apps/View/index.html?appid=cdc49bd63ea54dd2977f3f2853e07fff#! This application provides access to ready-to-use map packages with relevant soil data derived from the SSURGO dataset. You simply navigate to your study area and click the map. A pop-up window will open with a download option and the map package will be copied to your computer which is accessible via ArcGIS Pro. What kind of ArcGIS spatial analysis are applicable in small research experiment plots? Assuming the resolution will slow down with the size of grid, I was wondering about what types of questions can be answered reliably for small research plots (say 15X30 ft) using ArcGIS? ArcGIS supports spatial analysis at various spatial scales. As such the availability and resolution of your data will determine the types of analysis you can accomplish. Can we bring our own property data into a Living Atlas app to further customize? Several of the applications designed and developed by the Living Atlas team can be downloaded and configured with your own data simply by accessing the source code from the appropriate GitHub. You simply need to Fork and then clone the repo once you have selected the download option from the Living Atlas website. What do you need to subscribe to obtain ArcGIS Velocity? ArcGIS Velocity is an add-on capability of ArcGIS Online, and is available in three subscription levels—Standard, Advanced, and Dedicated. The different licensing levels support different levels of data processing speed, storage, and computation. As a capability of ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Velocity is available to any user of type Creator or higher. Usage/Access of Velocity is controlled through privileges provisioned by the Administrator of the ArcGIS Online organizational account. Can we publish the Suitability analysis which Elvis showed as a Geoprocessing Service to ArcGIS Server? Yes. The Suitability Modeler in ArcGIS Pro consist of a number of Geoprocessing tools which can be strung together as a model. As such you can consequently publish the model as Geoprocessing Service. I need to create a web-based suitability model and found the suitability modeler widget, but it is limited to 15 raster layers. I need 21 layers. Is this possible to add 21 layers online, maybe by editing the source code? I believe you are referring to the Suitability Modeler widget in Web App Builder which indeed has a limitation of 15 rasters. Is the DTN data a subscription to DTN or something in Living Atlas? Access to DTN data is made available by subscribing directly to DTN. Through our strategic partnership with DTN you can access a fully supported set of weather data services for use within your ArcGIS Organization by searching the ArcGIS Market place. May I ask where to find the agricultural indicator (e.g. GDD) that was just shown? The agriculture indicators as shown during the webinar is an Experience Builder template. This is a new way of creating web experiences with a mobile-adaptive design for building compelling web applications. The GDD card is pointing to feature service where we are simply accumulating GDD daily for the growing season. For additional assistance, please contact members of the Esri agriculture team: Adam Pittman: apittman@esri.com Elvis Takow: etakow@esri.com Mark Dann: mdann@esri.com Charlie Magruder: cmagruder@esri.com Thank you and please keep a lookout for future agriculture webinars. Please view the webinar recording of "Imagery and Remote Sensing for Tailings Facility Management," which was recorded on January 27, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. PST. Select Questions and Answers from Live Session: How do I get access to Living Atlas data? ArcGIS Living Atlas of the World is available to all users who have accounts in ArcGIS Online. If you are using ArcGIS Enterprise, you will need one ArcGIS Online user to register the content with your ArcGIS Enterprise environment. Will the ArcGIS Online imagery replace Image Server? No, ArcGIS Image for ArcGIS Online will not be replacing ArcGIS Image Server. We will continue to offer both options for customers to decide between on-premise or SaaS. How many credits will the imagery service on ArcGIS Online consume? The image services in ArcGIS Image for ArcGIS Online will vary in their cost based on the type of service published, size of data, and other variables. More specific cost calculators will be available as the product is released for you to estimate the cost of your image services. Where can I find the previous webinars? Previous Esri Mining webinars are available here: esriurl.com/MiningWebinars. The previous webinar on Tailings workflows using mobile apps is available here: Geospatial Strategies for Tailings Storage Facility Management. How can I get the Planet imagery add-in for Pro? The Planet add-in for ArcGIS Pro requires a subscription with Planet. Please contact either Planet or Esri to learn about available options. You can find more information here about the Esri and Planet partnership. Can you process radar and lidar data? Can I use that type of data in ArcGIS for tailings? ArcGIS doesn’t have tools for processing radar or lidar data but can visualize and analyze these types of data. What license do I need to do that analysis in ArcGIS Pro? In this webinar, we used the Image Analyst extension for ArcGIS Pro. Is there any ground movement analysis and alarming based on movement thresholds with some of tools? Yes, using various analysis tools in ArcGIS, you can set thresholds and alert based on those thresholds. Alerts might be visualized in the form of a web map or dashboard or sent through email, for example. If you have any other questions, please contact Esri's Darin Bryce at dbryce@esri.com. Thank you, The Mining Team

Please view the recording of the petroleum webinar, "Integrate Real-Time / IoT Data into your Digital Twin for Petroleum" that occurred on February 3, at 10:00 a.m. PST. If you have questions, please reach Esri's Sam Rosario at srosario@esri.com. Question and answers from the live webinar When ArcGIS Enterprise is released on Kubernetes, will ArcGIS Velocity be available to deploy in that environment? In that case how would we reconcile between ArcGIS GeoEvent Server and ArcGIS Velocity? In the future, ArcGIS Velocity will be supported for ArcGIS Enterprise on Kubernetes. You will need to choose between deploying ArcGIS Enterprise on Kubernetes to access ArcGIS Velocity or maintain ArcGIS GeoEvent Server. If the added scalability and resiliency of ArcGIS Velocity, the big data analytics, and the new user interface are beneficial to you, you could choose to replace your ArcGIS GeoEvent Server. Can this be customized to bring in types of information for different departments. Like I work with Land and deal with the contracts and need to know lease and surface information. Can we bring in that information from our Quorum system and 3rd party information? Yes, you can bring in data from your land system to use in this analysis. A good example would be to spatially aggregate large volumes of historical production data on to your leasehold on a near real-time basis (e.g. every night). As long as the data has spatial attributes, we can use some of the supported input connectors to bring the data into ArcGIS Velocity. Is ArcGIS Velocity a single-tenant or multi-tenant solution? ArcGIS Velocity is offered in both multi-tenant and single-tenant options. The single-tenant option is called ArcGIS Velocity Dedicated. Do you have the interfaces with different Scada Companies? to hook up to their data outputs - either RTU's or Meters, etc? ArcGIS Velocity does not have specific interfaces for working with different SCADA companies. However, we do support a wide variety of inputs that can be used to create a bridge between ArcGIS Velocity and your SCADA system, such as Azure Event Hub, AWS IoT, Receive on REST endpoint, and more. Can the outputs be displayed in Portal or a Map Service? The outputs of ArcGIS Velocity are map services, feature services, and stream services. These data sources are hosted in ArcGIS Online, but can be registered in your ArcGIS Enterprise Portal. What out of the box connectors brings the application? In other words, with which real-time data transmission systems are compatible with ArcGIS Velocity You can find a list of supported input connectors for ArcGIS Velocity here: ArcGIS Velocity – What is a feed? How is ArcGIS Velocity licensed? ArcGIS Velocity is an organization capability, meaning that it is tied to an ArcGIS Online organization, not a specific user license. It is offered in three sizes designed to address different scales of workflows from small to massive. Additionally, ArcGIS Velocity can be incrementally scaled up as needed. See more information here: ArcGIS Velocity Licensing Any Creator or GIS Professional User Type in an organization, with the correct permissions, can access and use ArcGIS Velocity. Any User Type can view the outputs of ArcGIS Velocity, including stream layers, feature layers, and map image layers. What is the roadmap for ArcGIS GeoEvent Server? ArcGIS GeoEvent Server will continue to be developed and supported as a real-time data ingestion and analysis product for ArcGIS Enterprise. What are some examples you see this being used for at companies that only operate offshore? ArcGIS Velocity can be used to ingest many sources of real-time data and big data for offshore operations. For example, you could integrate AIS vessels, helicopters, live weather, and SCADA data. Using real-time and big data analytics, you could detect potential collisions, calculate helicopter ETAs to destinations, alert to inclement weather, and respond to SCADA information. Can we integrate our own real time projections for propane usage at a location? We do not currently have real time sensors installed but instead use a projection system to determine when a location may need a delivery? Yes, you can bring in your own real-time projects of propane usage through one of the supported inputs for ArcGIS Velocity. What sort of stress testing have you done? Is there a maximum events/second? What happens to data if maximum ingest capacity is exceeded? ArcGIS Velocity Dedicated is able to ingest and process data at 2,500 KB/second (roughly 10,000 events per second) and can be scaled up beyond that. If your ArcGIS Velocity instance has reached its maximum compute, you will be notified that no more resources are available and will not be able to create more services. Can you connect or bring the data into Spotfire? Spotfire has limited ability to consume ArcGIS services, especially those which are secured. You will find more integration capabilities when using other similar dashboarding and BI tools such as ArcGIS Dashboards or Microsoft Power BI with the ArcGIS for Power BI visualization. Thank you, The Petroleum Team

Please view the webinar recording of "Integrate Real-Time / IoT Data into Your Digital Twin for Pipeline," which was recorded on January 20, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. PST. Select Questions and Answers from Live Session: Does the Velocity have a processor to compare previous and current values? Yes, if to store the historical data in the big data store that would be a great example of near real-time analysis where we are looking at current data and historical stored data. Can we implement analysis to define the nearest truck to a certain asset, and send a notification or an SMS to that truck driver? Yes, that would follow the ingest, process, and notify workflow. Let us know if we can help you configure that for your specific use case. Can this be implemented in a 3D/Augmented Reality environment if that’s how your GIS data is being displayed? Yes, this data is associated with the GIS object that represents the physical object in the field. That data can then all be visualized via multiple methods, including AR/VR platforms. Would this have a good application for the management of SWD Facilities and pipelines tied into the facility? One helpful process would be to monitor injection wellhead pressures. SWD injection has been linked to seismic activity. Yes, if there is a real-time feed for this type of data, and a value to analyze this data in real-time. Velocity may a good fit for this use case. Thank you for the amazing webinar. My question is, is it possible to link the live stream data to a 3D BIM or MEP model, for example, building scene layers? Yes, we can join these data feed to 3D objects in the enterprise geodatabase. SCADA security is a top priority, can velocity pull data separate from the actual SCADA system? We typically see information pulled from the SCADA historian, outside of the control room. Is it possible to initiate a work order in SAP? Yes, using the SAP API or other interfaces, we can send a work order request automatically to SAP. If you have any other questions, please contact Esri's Jeff Allen at Jeff_Allen@esri.com. Thank you, The Pipeline Team

Thank you to those who were able to attend our webinar, "Beyond Points on a Map: Adding Value to your Business with Location Intelligence." See the following resources for further information: - Contact Esri's Adam Pittman at Apittman@esri.com - Contact Esri's Matt Ballard at Mballard@esri.com. - Webinar Youtube Link: Beyond Points on a Map: Adding Business Value with Location Intelligence Webinar - YouTube Questions and answers from webinar Q. How is the route optimization technology effected by remote areas that are outside the normal cellular or mobile reception areas? A. In areas without access to the internet, we are able to enable offline access for turn by turn directions and mobile mapping. For example, in the morning a user might be connected to wifi and get their daily route downloaded before going out into the field. There are ways to handle this and if it is a challenge you are having, we can provide more recommendations. Q. Drone imagery was briefly mentioned, what would be the best way of increasing the value of the data collected other than just basic video or still imaging? A. We will be happy to discuss one on one, but there are many other derived value products. Q. Can I get help to build the petroleum hub with arcgis online? A. We will be happy to discuss one-on-one. Please reach out to the emails provided above. Q. For route optimization does it work on mobile? And can we integrate this solution with SAP or IBM systems? A. Yes, there is a mobile portion of that solution including turn-by-turn directions and data collection. We can integrate with various solutions such as SAP and IBM. Would be happy to discuss further in a future call. Thank you for your time and attention. Have a nice day. Warm regards, The Petroleum Team

Thank you to those who were able to attend the Esri Petroleum webinar on June 16, 2020, tilted, "Enhanced Logistics for Operational Efficiency in Petroleum." Please enjoy and peruse the recording at your leisure. For further information, please see the resources below: View and share the Youtube video link View the webinar slideshow Contact Esri's Adam Pittman: Apittman@esri.com Contact Esri's Scott Noulis: SNoulis@esri.com Join the Esri Petroleum User Group on LinkedIn To stay aware of upcoming webinars, visit the Esri homepage, Petroleum and Pipeline GIS Webinar Series Select questions and answers from the webinar session. I am a master’s student in GIS, how can I get the data and software for project? You can access the software through your university or as an annual purchase through a student account. Here is the link for the Student use software (https://www.esri.com/en-us/arcgis/products/arcgis-for-student-use/overview). If you do not purchase the StreetMap Premium dataset your next best option is to investigate the Open StreetMap Data or use the ArcGIS Online tools if your studies don't take you off the commercial road network. Do the schemas of the tables have to match a certain set to solve the vehicle routing problem? Yes, the schemas do need to match for the algorithms to function properly. You will need an input layer for all of the stops that need to be visited and the orgin/destination locations. You can append the data from your input layers to the VRP schema using the field mapper option in the append tool. Does the user of webmap need to have a license to use network tool? The user of the web app would only need a license that allows them to create content. The VRP tool is published using the Network Analyst Server Extension, which isn't tied to any specific user. The manner in which that web tool is shared through the Portal will determine who can use it. How often is StreetMap Premuim updated? E.g., when new roads are being work on? StreetMap Premium is updated quarterly by HERE. You will receive the updates along with tools to update your dataset in ArcGIS Pro. How do you keep the live location of the truck/transportation? This is more of an IoT question. You would need to ingest the vehicle feed into something like GeoEvent Server or Analytics for IoT. This would produce a service by which you could ingest and see near real-time update in your app. What if a company is using a contractor? For Example, the company doesn’t own the truck so they have to outsource for whatever reason, can you still keep track through the Nav? Yep! So long as the contractor will allow you to access that logistics feed - that can be as simple as giving the driver a mobile phone... Is there a URL schema to push to Navigator the route or do you have to publish the route to server? In the scenario we showed, the URL schema called the Navigator app and passed the map (MMPK) item ID and the corresponding route layer item ID as parameters. Both the MMPK and the route layer items would need to be published to Portal to do this. An alternative would be to push a stop list to Navigator. When this is done, the names of all the stops (in the optimized sequence) are passed as parameters in the URL. So there would be no need to publish the routes to Portal first. What if I don’t have Network Routes as I have don’t have Network Road? You must have some sort of data to route against. The data needs to have the appropriate network and logic built in order to generate the intelligent route to avoid one way roads, not turn down one way streets, etc. Is there technology and solution used for shipping? Great question, reach out to us. Although the tools we showed today focused on vehicle fleets, there are tools in the ArcGIS platform, that could be used in support of supply chain and vessel traffic to be used to optimize pickups/deliveries and cargo shipments. On Web AppBuilder, do you have a custom geoprocesing to create routes? No custom geoprocessing, we are simply publishing the tool configured in desktop to the enterprise environment as a geoprocessing service. The GP service is then referenced in the out-of-the-box geoprocessing widget within WAB. We will share a resource on our Webinar page to help guide you through setting this up. If you have questions, just reach out to us! How do you build that in Experience for ArcGIS? Experience Builder is NICE! This is a new product and an entirely new code base when compared to Web AppBuilder. We will post our code samples when ready to our webinar site for all to see. If we have custom routes, can I view these routes in Navigator? You sure can view your custom roads/routes in Navigator. Once you integrate your custom roads they can be viewed and used by everyone if you have licensed the commercial data. How are you tracking which stops have been visited by the lease operator on a daily route? This can be done by various methods Mike, by time stamp, by crossing a geographic buffer, by manual entry, etc - there can be several triggers set. In this scenario, workers would complete a form in Survey123 when their activity is completed. The timestamp of the form is then compared against scheduled time of the stop. Where are those outputs saved; orders/sequence, and routes specifically? Shapefile in your file structure? or is that saved just in ArcGIS online? No Shapefiles! :). This is all within the enterprise database associated with the deployment. The outputs for the desktop tool can be saved as feature classes within a FGDB. A tool can then be run to share the output as route layers and feature layers/services to your ArcGIS Online or Enterprise Portal. The tool in the web app created an output stored as a feature layer in the Portal. How much would all of this cost, as far extensions go? If you have no software you would of course need to purchase it. If you already have Desktop and Network Analyst you can do all of the Desktop workflow. Publishing as a web service would require the Enterprise components (ArcGIS Enterprise along with the Network Analyst Extension for Enterprise). The most expensive part beyond that would likely be the purchase of the commercial road network. You are welcome to reach out to us and we can help you cost this out. I am guessing you probably already have much of the software you need. Warm Regards, The Petroleum Team

Thank you to those who were able to attend the Esri Mining webinar on June 17, 2020, tilted, "Building a Web Mapping Platform." Please enjoy and peruse the recording at your leisure. For further information, please see the resources below: Youtube video link of webinar recording. For instance, how do you produce the print to pdf widget? (is it a function of the version of Enterprise that you are using?) The print widget is configurable and comes with Web AppBuilder in ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise. With ArcGIS Enterprise, you have added functionality to create custom print templates that you can embed additional map elements including company logos. Is it possible to share maps in ArcGIS online with information in 3D? Yes, 3D scenes can be created and shared to ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise. There is a great example of a 3D web scene from Esri Business Partner Seequent. The data was created with their Target for ArcGIS Pro add-in and shared to ArcGIS Online for others to visualize. Are there any improvements in 3D visualizations and data management in ESRI web applications? Esri is constantly improving our 3D visualization capabilities through the web. After creating a 3D scene in ArcGIS Pro, you can publish it to the web to view it in the Scene Viewer. You can read more about the Scene View here: Scene Viewer – View, create, and share 3D scenes in your browser. Additionally, web scenes can be turned into 3D web applications using Web AppBuilder where we have a number of configurable 3D widgets such at the 3D measurement widget or slides widget. If there is an application you want to build that we don’t provide the tools out-of-the-box for, you can also develop your application using our JavaScript API to build your 3D application. For mining applications, is it possible to collect automatically point/track data in areas of spotty internet connectivity, i.e. camps with internet access and not on the field? Are there any workflows available for reference? Yes, this is possible using Esri’s mobile applications. Our mobile applications are designed to work offline. For example, if you want to collect track data you could use Tracker for ArcGIS. As a user walks around the locations will be stored on their device until they connect to the internet. Once they connect, the tracks will be uploaded. Collector for ArcGIS also works offline for collection geospatial data. In my case I have a bad signal, can we share the map in local area/intranet? Yes, you can take maps offline in our mobile applications such as Explorer for ArcGIS or Collector for ArcGIS as well as in ArcGIS Pro. Has the IoT application in ArcGIS been deployed anywhere in the field? i.e. is any site actually tracking their trucks real time with the platform yet? Analytics for IoT is a brand-new capability of ArcGIS Online (software-as-a-service). The equivalent real-time and big data capabilities are available in our on-premise ArcGIS Enterprise software through GeoEvent Server & GeoAnalytics Server. These on-premise tools have been deployed at mine sites to track trucks and other assets in real-time. How does Analytics for IoT compare to existing fleet management software/tools already in the market? Analytics for IoT is designed to connect to the other systems and integrate live data feeds into the ArcGIS platform. It does not replace an existing fleet management software. A common workflow would be to stream vehicle locations from the fleet management to display in an ArcGIS Dashboard along with other operational data such as asset boundaries, haul roads, equipment, and materials. Analytics for IoT is also able to incorporate many data feeds, not just vehicles (e.g. weather, SCADA, etc.). By bringing this data into the ArcGIS platform you can also begin to do further geospatial analysis on your data. Warm Regards, The Mining Team
