Brian Rollison Thanks for the quick reply! Is this only implemented in Hub or does it also trickle over to Enterprise Sites?

Currently, Enterprise Sites allows users to use Layout Builder to add a Gallery into a site's page. The Gallery can filter the apps, pages, etc. using Groups and Tags, but there is no option in the Gallery configuration window to change the order in which the items within the Gallery display. Having the ability to control the order of these items (either by a Sort function or the ability to drag and drop items) would give us the ability to control the user's experience on the site, maintain the location of items (currently they can enter new items in the Gallery anywhere within the Gallery), and finally it will allow for a bit more customization within the site.

When copying a map in Pro, have the copied map maintain all of the Grid Settings that are present in the original map. Currently, when copying a map that has Grid Settings (i.e. Disabling Dynamic Scaling and View Extents), the copied map has a grid present, but Dynamic Scaling will be re-enabled and View Extents will be added if they were removed before.

I would like to see an enhancement that would allow users to filter or be able to identify commands in the "Customize the Ribbon" interface based on the licenses for which the user is authorized. Frequently, users will search the list of commands for functions that are useful and add them to their Pro interface. Sometimes, users will add the command only to run see a notification that they are not licensed to use that particular command because a certain extension is required. If ArcGIS Pro had the functionality to include an indicator or filtering ability that would allow users to identify tools that they are able to use within the commands list, then they would be saved the trouble of having to go back into this list of commands to find an alternative if the tool they added requires additional licensing.

Thank you for the response, Jayanta. I am using a Named User license and I did configure Pro with our Portal. I previously used the steps you suggested when adding Bing Aerial to my organization's basemaps. The Bing Aerial basemap shows up as an option under "Basemaps", but once I click it to add it to the map the Bing Aerial basemap comes in with a broken link. Thanks again!

Hey GeoNet, I am using ArcGIS Pro 2.0. When I try to add the Bing Aerial basemap that I have (licensed and am able to use) in a Map within Pro, the basemap adds with the red exclamation mark indicating a broken link. In ArcGIS for Desktop 10.5 and Portal for ArcGIS 10.3, this Bing Aerial basemap is able to be used without an issue. Has anyone encountered a similar issue or have any suggestions? Thanks so much!

Robert, Thanks for always being speedy to reply! I also wanted to mention that when attempting to use this tool (as of this morning) in my app and your live preview site, there is an error showing. The error (ERROR 000824: The tool is not licensed.) popped up when I attempted to use the tool this morning and so I checked your live preview site to see the same error. Any ideas? Thank you, Robert! - Devon

Robert, Are there any plans to be able to control how exaggerated the elevation change appears in the widget? It would be nice to have a controller that allows for people to either provide more exaggeration or less exaggeration in the profile. Thanks for a great widget! - Devon

Wendy, Perhaps a different culprit is to blame. I know that a big draw for Pro was multi-threaded processing and that's still a favorite part of the software. When I was using a labeling scheme for a large number of features (17k+) with Maplex enabled by default, I saw my performance take a big hit. Pro begins to lag to the point where if I click anywhere I sit and need to sit and wait for the response to my click (selecting a feature, pan, etc.). But, because labeling does take a place on a separate thread, it's possible there is another culprit. I will dig into this further on my end. I do really like Pro. I think with some time and development it can be the hallmark of Esri's products - which I imagine is the plan anyway.

I was following along with the ArcGIS Pro instruction on how to use LiDAR data and building footprints to generate roof forms. My question: is there a plan to add additional roof types to these tools? It is possible to cobble together many roof structures, but there are some types (such as domes) that aren't able to be created. Thanks for any input!

Thread bump. Having this feature would be a fantastic addition as we have users who will add Operational Layers "by mistake" to the application and then confuse themselves. Keeping a clean interface is ideal - especially for users who are not particularly tech-savvy.
