When you say "Share a print service web tool with custom layouts from ArcGIS Pro" I assume you are referring to Share a print service web tool with custom layouts from ArcGIS Pro—Documentation (10.7) | ArcGIS Enterprise. The tutorial is for creating a tool on an Enterprise system (i.e. your own server). If you are working with ArcGIS Enterprise, check to see that you are signed in to your Enterprise rather than ArcGIS Online. At this point in time if you only have Online, I believe you may be out of luck for creating custom layouts.

Thanks David. Most of that does look familiar. We have a single server with a base deployment. The Portal has been set to utilize Windows Active Directory and anonymous access has been disabled. I'll have to look in the certificates issue further. When asking IT about making the server visible to the outside, what's the terminology I need to use to make myself clear what I'm looking to do?

I'm afraid not. We get our software licenses through an ELA that doesn't offer Online.

Our Portal is not accessible from outside the organization's domain. Normally this is fine, except I'd like to use Collector for the remote collection of data. Networks and network security are not my bailiwick. What do I need to do to make the server visible to devices (just these devices?) with Collector? If this something that isn't something that can be changed just within the ArcGIS Enterprise software, what are the questions I need to bring to our IT department to better understand the situation? Can this be done without making our system "public"?

What are the proper input notations for the Go To XY tool for each of the tools drop down options? When set to the the Decimal Degrees it's fairly simple. but when set to UTM despite the variations I've tried it has remained greyed out.

With help from tech support, found the solution to this problem. Because the share setting for the Geoprocessing Service PrintingTools was not set to share with all the groups using the map viewer and WebApp Builder application that loaded the layers shared only to groups. In my case, I set the Share setting of PrintingTools to my organization and the problem was solved.

I have certain features that don't print. What I've noticed is the layers that won't print are the layers shared with Groups and not Everyone. Strangely, the labels of these layers still appear in the Print output and the symbology shows in the Legend of the map output. Since is all internally processed in our server, why is this happening? Is there some permission I need to enable to allow the print service to "access" these layers?

I may have reached a conclusion of sorts. I had cause to open and work on another Pro project briefly. During this Pro worked as normal. To test if the slow processing was tied to the ArcGIS Project file. I created a new ArcGIS Project and loaded in all the files used in my primary project file. All processing and tasks seem to be running as quickly as normal. Is it possible that the ArcGIS Project file is corrupted and this is what is causing the completion of tasks to take so long?

I recently had and solved what seems like an identical problem. At the beginning of our installation, I checked that the hardware on our brand new server was up to specifications and never checked again for a month. After a month of troubleshooting, someone suggested that we check the number of cores. I had our IT department create/assign 8 virtual cores on our server. Portal installed and configured with no problem after that.

I have recently (last 2 weeks or so) developed this same problem. Most every thing I do is now taking far too long for the amount of time I know it should complete in and has in the past. For example, looking at the process history shows a Feature Class to Feature Class (of about 25 features) has succeeded in under 9 seconds but ties up the computer for the 4.5 minutes for it to complete. This is after doubling the computers RAM hoping this would solve this issue of slowness.

I assembled a custom line symbology for my overhead utility lines and used the "Save symbol to style...". I then had a symbology in Favorites. I later had a reason to change the symbology to the layer. How do I remove/delete this saved symbology? Or do I have to live with this now unneeded symbology clogging the favorites category for the life of this project?

I have very recently downloaded the eSearch widget and am trying to implement it into an web app. Though my feature service is only 2 fields (OID and Allotment_Number), I too am getting the "Search URL Field Required, Included Fields is Empty" message. After reading the earlier posts I went back to look at the 3 sample layer such as "Louisville Zoning" and noticed the /2 at the end of the layer url. I assume these refer to the order of the layer's fields. Is there a simple way to find these? All references I've found on sublayers seem to assume I knew what sublayers were. The best I've found is Sublayer | ArcGIS API for JavaScript 4.12 . Even there there's nothing like "A sublayer is..."
