I've built an app using the QuickReport template in AppStudio 3.1. On my developer machine it works fine, and i the AppStudio Player it also looks and operates without problems. But if I build it on the cloud and try it out on my device, it hangs after I press "New". Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks in advance /Carsten

This is the code I am using to get tags: layer.onLoadStatusChanged.connect(function () { if (layer.loadStatus === Enums.LoadStatusLoaded) { console.log("layer loaded!"); console.log("layer=" + layer); console.log("layer.name=" + layer.name); console.log("layer.item.itemId=" + layer.item.itemId); console.log("layer.item.tags=" + layer.item.tags); } });

Hi Erwin. No, the app is written using AppStudio Qt/QML. I have the map object, that contains all the operational layers (see: https://developers.arcgis.com/qt/latest/qml/api-reference/qml-esri-arcgisruntime-map.html). I iterate through the layers. The layers are all created as items (see: https://developers.arcgis.com/qt/latest/qml/api-reference/qml-esri-arcgisruntime-layer.html ), so through that I can get the item property and retrieve tags (see: https://developers.arcgis.com/qt/latest/qml/api-reference/qml-esri-arcgisruntime-arcgisitem.html). The value itemId property is correct, but the tags are empty. So I am not using REST calls 🙂 /Carsten

I am building an mobile app in AppStudio, where I need to read tags from layers. It is based on the MapViewer template, and I have a web map that contains a layer (stored as an item on ArcGIS Online). When I click on the map it iterates through the layers and adds them to the map view. Currently the map only contains my layer and a base map. I've added a tag on the layer item, and I'm positive, that I got the correct layers. I can see that when I write the item id in the console log. But still the tags written to the console log is empty. Has anyone else had this issue? And if so, is there a fix to this. Thanks in advance. /Carsten

Hi. I've noticed something strange when developing a C# add-in for ArcGIS Pro. I've created one task item with two task "inside". I want to iterate through the list of tasks, like so: var taskItem = Project.Current.GetItems<TaskProjectItem>().FirstOrDefault(); TaskItemInfo taskItemInfo = taskItem.GetTaskItemInfo(); // <-- This line is throwing the NullReferenceException IEnumerable<TaskInfo> taskInfos = taskItemInfo.GetTasks(); foreach (TaskInfo taskInfo in taskInfos) { // do something } But the 2nd line is throwing an exception. I don't understand why. I've actually taken the code from ArcGIS Pro 2.2 API Reference Guide with the same result. I don't get it. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I have an web application created using Esri Javascript API 4.7. There I am using a Print widget, and I am point to the view of the map. But, the result look completely different from what I see on the screen. The code is as follows: new Print({ view: app.mapView, printServiceUrl: "https://utility.arcgisonline.com/arcgis/rest/services/Utilities/PrintingTools/GPServer/Export%20Web%20Map%20Task", templateOptions: { legendEnabled: true, scaleEnabled: true } }) What I see on the view: What I see in the result of the print: I am not sure which other properties I can set when I instanciate the Print widget. Neither the colors on the map, nor the legend or the scale bar looks anything like what I see on the view. What am I missing? Any help is greatly appreciated. Regards Carsten

Does anyone know if the Infographic widget from the JavaScript API v. 3.24 be part of the JavaScript API v. 4.x? And if so, will it be usable in a scene (3D) as well? Thanks 🙂

Hi. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. It seems that the Expand widget is not working as expected in the API 4.7. I went to one of Esri's sandbox examples: ArcGIS API for JavaScript Sandbox I've modified the code a little bit like so: And when I click the button I can see both Expand widgets added to the view. But, even though they are in the same group, I can have both widgets expanded at the same time. I expect the lower Expand widget to collapse when I click the top one. Must I set another property than "group"?

I can configure a desired language for my widgets by setting the variable on the dojoConfig like so: var dojoConfig = { locale: "da" } But is it possible to change it in runtime mode, meaning when the application is running? And preferably without having to refresh the page
