I have an Alienware 17 laptop that I bought last year. Alienware 17 Gaming Laptop Built for Virtual Reality | Dell United States And a Dell Precision 3630 that is a few months old and they both run Pro very well. I'm not sure I'd say 'blistering', but the tower is definitely fast. I just timed it and Pro opens in 7 seconds and it never seems to lag, even working with large map layouts. I believe key specs are a high end graphics card, a solid state drive, and plenty of RAM. Both of these were under $2,000. That did not include monitors for the Precision. Jimmy

You can accomplish the same by grouping your indicators. Stack the first three and then hold shift when positioning to group the others. (the panels will turn blue to green). Then one click on a tab shows all of the indicators for that feature class.

Of course, I above it was interpreted as a space! That'd be & n b s p ; - remove the spaces in the middle.

Any html in the string will be interpreted, when the popup is displayed in a browser. So you can use html non-breaking space characters - - which will be displayed as spaces in the popup. Or a little fancier, you can also use in-line css styling to left-pad the line. Outputing this as a string should work. <p style="padding-left:10px;">This is your error!</p> Jimmy

I had this same problem today after upgrading from 10.4 to 10.5. I'm not sure Dan understood that the error message occurs when opening PythonWin itself - probably caused by PythonWin looking for ArcGIS 10.4 components that are no longer installed. I fixed this by reinstalling PythonWin from here. You most likely want the win32-py27 version. Releases · mhammond/pywin32 · GitHub

Pretty sure Kelly's suggestion is an Arcade expression not a field calculator expression. The ArcGIS help has a nesting example to concatenate three strings. CONCAT('A', CONCAT(':', 'B')) —result is 'A:B' Pretty cumbersome for a lot of fields. An Arcade expression would be much better. You can also concatenate multiple fields in field calculator using +, but for me it works fine with only fields, or only strings, but not trying to concatenate fields and strings together. Weird.

I haven't used the AGOL field calculator, but can you include a space in quotes in the calculation? {field1} + " " + {field2}

Thank you! I just tried doing this using a different account (in a different AGOL organization) and shortlist was an option there. I'll contact our org admins about getting it added to our app list or preferably having the list set back to the default. I know them and I'd guess it's not restricted on purpose.

I'm trying to create a shortlist story map using data in an existing web map as the data source as described (very briefly) here in step 1. Story Map Shortlist Tutorial | Story Maps I have my web map with a layer using the correct schema, and containing some sample data. http://delaware.maps.arcgis.com/home/webmap/viewer.html?webmap=6b4f15b068f84086adb86145cf05f099 But when I try to create a new web app, story map shortlist is not an option in the template gallery. I've gone several ESRI and non-ESRI sets of instructions for this and can't figure out what's going wrong. Any ideas? Thanks.

I just managed to get this fixed. I believe the problem was I was adding the CSV using 'Add data from file' which actually loads the data from a browser cache version. I switched to 'Add Data from the Web' and entered the Google Drive URL to the csv. Now it updates every time I refresh the map.

At the bottom of the popup should be a link "Show Related Records" that will open a table with the related records.

I'm having the same problem. Seems easy to setup according to several block posts from ESRI, but it looks like AGOL keeps using a cached version of the data instead of reloading the published csv data. If I view the published Google csv, the data is updated there, so it's not a Google setting. It's AGOL not checking the csv for updates. This is even when checking the map a week later and in a different browser. However, if I create a new layer with the same csv data url, the new layer shows the updated data, but no further changes after the layer is created.

I think if you look for features with a similar width and height of a minimum bounding rectangle, area, and perimeter length - you'd be close. A polygon with those 4 similarities is likely to be the same shape. But I think you'd have to code or build the model yourself.

You could add an if/else statement to check if the building has two names. (Fair warning, I'm also more familiar with Python so my VB syntax probably isn't correct.) dim buildingName as string if Split( [TRAKT], " ", 2) = "" then buildingName = [TRAKT] ## If 2nd word in TRAKT is empty, then use the entire cell value. else buildingName = Split( [TRAKT], " ", 2) Then build your label expression using buildingName.
