Hi, Norwegian Distributor supportteam here. Just had a supportcase for Drone2Map (2.3). Notice the camera model for Hasselblad L1D-20c is "way off" as it is defined in Drone2Map 2.3. For example Principal Point in D2M 2.3 is defined as (mm) : 6.94, 3.98 In 2022.1.2 the same parameters are 0.03, 0.01 respectively (and still millimeters) ! Gives "interesting" results 😄

Support from here @KA20221201 . Was not aware the "DD MM.mmmm" was not supported but it should be. Any sailor would want that 🙂 It is supported in ArcGIS Pro and Drone2Map so I guess it was taken for granted to be supported in Earth. Good idea! best pH

HI @Anonymous User you are right and a common "problem" for any user of Site Scan not using GCP's nor EGM96 or WGS84 as a vertical datum (see for example Output Projection WKID 6559 and Vertical Datum NGV... - Esri Community). A robust and simple solution to get from WGS84 vertical datum to NN2000 is probably what you will have to opt for. The difference between EGM96 geoid and NN2000 (HREF2018 geoid) is typically within +/- 2 meters but the HREF2018 model has a much higher resolution compared with EGM96. So better do a direct WGS84 - NN2000 transform (not use EGM96). best Pål Herman

Hi, if you are using a "portal" (ArcGIS Online organizational or an Enterprise Portal) you could make this geocode service available through the portal and it is there when logging in with Earth

It would be great if Drone2Map could offer other tiling schemas/coordinate systems when using the Share Tab. It is actually a strange experience when one has done everything correct in a project with coordinate systems for Project, GCP's and Imagery - and then followed by a Share which transforms and reprojects the result to web-mercator (wkid 102100). It is of course an easy fix opening the project with ArcGIS Pro or export the raster, but still offering this directly on the Share Tab and Panes would be a better solution

Hi @MatthewC the 2022.1.2 release (October 11th - Esri Support ArcGIS Drone2Map 2022.1.2) has solved the issues I had with my mini-flight (which is 15 not 30 images). Maybe you could share your processing log? (or imagery). best pH

Hi @MatthewC I have seen imagery having no troubles being processed in the old version but not being able to be processed in the new. Standard RGB stuff and very small flight (30 images) with an overlap around what you have. Did not have the time to investigate further but I can give it a retry. On another project I had no troubles - but find the processing report missing some details which I like to have back (posted as an idea).

Hi @GISGeekpro. If the coordinate system in your map (PCS) match the reference system (GCS or PCS) of your data, no additional transformation should be necessary. To ensure this is respected you could make a custom project template in ArcGIS Pro. If You mix data in your map (in your case ITRF2014 and ETRF2000) a transformation is needed in the map. Also needed if the coordinate system of your map is neither ITRF2014 or ETRF2000. best pH

Hi, I get my GCP's in CSV format looking like this (UTM WKID:25832) Punkt;X;Y;Z 04;577571.729;6620514.436;127.153 Only slightly annoying issue is the resulting import gives the point-id ("punkt"-attribute from the above example) hitten in the TAG attribute in the Control attribute-table So if I want the ID used as a Label in the map (which i like during GCP registration) I have to make a label expression like (in this example): Mid($feature.Tag,10,2)

In previous releases of Drone2Map we had in the report for Internal camera parameters (IO) both the Initial and Estimated values AND with the Estimated uncertainties (one sigma). In the latest release there is only "internal camera parameters" Can we get back Initial, Estimated and the associated uncertainties in the report for the camera parameters? In my opinion cruicial to know if you have to troubleshoot a mission/flight. (and please keep them in the Site Scan report, they are still in the Site Scan report at time of writing)

I had a similar supportcase @Sean and proposed that solution, but meanwhile client did a reflight and we never got to test. Did you try your proposed solution? best Pål (Paul)

A client uses ArcGIS Pro 2.9.1 and Layouts. He can place Text Elements in the Layout, he can edit the Text in the "Format Text Pane". BUT - if he doubleclick the text element for directly editing the text, ArcGIS Pro will immideately crash. It happens in every project, also small ones aka "one Map, one Layout" types of projects where the Layout has no other elements than a Map Frame prior to inserting a Text. Fellow colleges at his place experience same - but I do not at my location 😕 Reminds me of the discussion https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-pro-questions/pro-crashes-after-adding-text-to-layout-and/td-p/1011665 But not 100% Anyone seen similar and have a solution?
