When a Survey123 is shared publically, all users within that community automatically see the survey in their download survey's list. This can be useful, but we have a few instances where public surveys are used for community data collection which our named users shouldn't be collecting. We have tried training users to not download and use this form, but have found that users tend to download it eventually and it creates confusion as to which form to use. We would love the possibility to share the survey publically without it also selecting and sharing within the community as well. Would this be possible since the options are sequentially selected and appear to be selectable individually?

We are trying to set up a workflow using the inbox in survey123 where a user is assigned a task (based a previously submitted feature) in the inbox and then copies the data to a new survey to capture new data as a new feature. The workflow has been coming together nicely, but we ran into an issue where the geopoint won't update to the device's current location even when we cycle the relevancy for the question. We keep the geopoint question read-only since field workers have been known to misplace the location since they are offline during collection which causes issues further down the line and want to rely on GPS reported location alone. Is there any workaround or suggestions to allow a new location to be captured using this method? Also, we have looked at creating a copy of the assignment and allowing users to edit the information directly, but since photos are required for the update, only the copy to a new survey workflow will work for this instance.

I was really excited to look at moving some projects over as well, but they almost all use images so we are going to have to kill the transitions without a timeline for adding this functionality in.

Philip, I am using Integromat and created a new scenario based on your comments. The interesting thing is that the repeats show up in the mapping tool, but the response breakout doesn't call out the repeats at all. This was confusing me because you can normally find the arrays in the response of the webhook. Thank you for clarifying this for me!

I was extremely excited to see that repeats were going to be accessible from webhooks in 3.10, but I haven't seen anything showing how to access them yet. I created a survey yesterday in 3.10 that had a repeat to test it out and way the repeat listed in the expected return of the webhook, but upon submission, the repeat information didn't get passed along. I am sure there will be something added to the documentation eventually, but I wanted to see if I could get a little help since I will be setting up some forms soon that would really benefit from accessing the information directly without having to create an additional REST query of the related table to extract it.

I agree, after running across a walkthrough for how to create a reactive dashboard based on the device screen size, I really wanted to set up an example, but we also use URL parameters to customize the experience for different users.

James, Depending on how many users you have and/or if they use unique devices, we have implemented something that may be similar to what you are asking based on the DeviceID and/or Username. Basically the start of the survey would contain a "username" and/or "deviceid" line that can then be used in relevant or choice_filters to modify the survey and/or selectable answers as needed. However, it can easily become unwieldy depending on the complexity of your survey design. An alternate option we have also used is to reference the feature service to create different surveys that all feed into the same feature service and then use access management to serve the correct version to the correct users. This is usually our first choice when certain users need restricted access to certain fields and others (say managers) need to review submissions and potentially modify other fields. Hope this helps, Kevin

I ran into the same thing today after hitting a wall uploading data through the AGOL append tool. Did you ever figure this out?

Philip, I am developing using the beta version 3.7.37b and the field apps are using the 3.7.54 version of the app. The return key does actually advance inside the form, but here is an example of what we are seeing: With the XML layout below, a number is entered in question1 and the return key is pressed on the tablet's keyboard. The cursor moves into question 3 and question 2 appears simultaneously instead of moving into question 2. Integer question1 (no relevancy) Integer question2 (relevancy if question1 != null) Integer question3 (no relevancy)

Is there a way to make sure the survey advances to the next question when you hit the return key on the keyboard? Right now our survey seems to be skipping over dependent questions to the next non-dependent question.

Jose, Unfortunately, we ended up moving away from related tables and just incorporating the data directly into the survey via modifications for the forms and webhook lookups that injected outside data. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Rob, I am on the Beta Version, but I believe the impact is isolated to Hidden fields. I recreated the original form and the issue only appears when Hidden fields are added.

Sure James and thank you for the help in advance. The form TestForm that is attached is a cleaned version of the form that recreates the error we are saw. The error popped up while editing a form to remove two conditional questions that weren't helpful during data collection. While we were creating the cleaned version we found that simply setting the relevancy to FALSE and leaving the type as text seemed to fix the error. The error seems to stem from changing the question type to HIDDEN from the original text type. We also attached a second version TestFormV2 that has the FALSE added to the Hidden type which doesn't fix the error either if it is helpful.
