My organization is wanting to take a layer that we have in our enterprise geodatabase and use it with Collector in an offline setting. I follow the steps here to setup my layers for offline sync capabilities without using versioning. This entails adding Global IDs and enable archiving. I add global IDs through the tool and enable archiving. I then publish the layer to my server and select all capabilities including add, delete, update, sync, and query. I create my web map and download it to collector. While connected to the internet, I can add, delete, and update features like normal. When I download the map, the features and everything downloads fine. I can add new features, but I cannot delete or update attributes offline. When i try to update an attribute it says, "Unable to Update". When I try to delete a feature it says, "Unable to open the database file - Create virtual table for selection failed." Any idea where I might have missed a step in configuring the data or publishing? Thanks, Nikholai

I have a public survey which some folks have been using. From android devices, they are able to submit data just fine and it all works smoothly. I have received reports from them saying that when submitting with an iphone, they are asked to sign in. I own an iPhone 6+ and tested this myself and it did ask me to sign in. This is a big issue for us as folks are not able to submit their data. Is this a bug? Timeline of it being fixed?

I believe it adds them together just like a normal multiple choice question does with the answers separated by a comma.

When using favorite answers, i noticed that it can copy in the old location. This is problematic as it can result in multiple records with the same geometry. If the GPS has acquired a lock before pasting in the favorite answers then it doesn't copy in your old location. However, if the GPS is still trying to find a lock as you paste in your favorite answers then it enters in the old location. Is there anyway to avoid this issue? Usually pasting in your favorite answers is the first step folks take which if the device hasn't acquired a signal will be bad.

You are correct that you cannot do a choice filter on a multiple choice question, however, there is a work around that will achieve the same result. Create several multiple choice questions, with the filtered answers based on the a previous question. Set the relevance on those multiple select questions based on the previous question. Set the data type of the several multiple choice questions to null Have a hidden field with an IF Statement in the calculation to pull in the data from the multiple select questions Attached is a quick example to demonstrate.

Christian Wells, I am all new to the ArcGIS API for Python. However, is it possible to access online layers with the ArcGIS API for Python, but then use those layers within arcpy geoprocessing tools? Thanks, Nikholai

I am trying to append features from one feature layer to another using the Python API using Jupyter notebooks. I log into ArcGIS Online using gis = GIS(username="username", password="password"). I find both layers and create a feature set for the records i wish to append. I then try to execute the append and get an error which seems to be due to permissions. Error below. If anyone has could offer assistance, that would be greatly appreciated.

I have read through the documentation about how you can copy ESRI's vector tile maps and do some custom styling such as changing colors, deleting layers and so on. However, is there a way to add layers to one of their templates? I have another vector tile package published to ArcGIS Online. I tried adding an additional source and then adding the layers in the json, but it seems that there is more to it then that if its even possible.

Is it possible to have the popup maximized right when the user clicks on the feature through hosting the webapp or through webapp builder for developers?
