Hi Kellen, No problem. I don't have up-to-date doc for that yet, but here's the process: Go to the Site Settings page of your SharePoint site. In SharePoint 2013 you can get to this page using the "gear” button next to your name in the upper right corner. In SP2010, this is under Site Actions>Site Settings from the menu in the top left. Screenshots below: Once you're on the Site Settings page, you'll see Esri Maps for SharePoint Administration. Click Configuration Settings: In the Configuration Settings list, change AllowSignInOverHttpProxy to be True instead of False: Let me know if that helps. Katy

Hi Michael, So in your scenario, you're talking about doing everything from the ArcGIS Online side of things. At that point, any SharePoint file location is simply a hyperlink, and as long as your clients have permissions to view those pages in SharePoint, they'll open up the same as any other web link. The origins of this particular thread date back to when our Esri Maps for SharePoint (formerly ArcGIS for SharePoint) product did not support hyperlinks in pop-ups. Hope that helps, Katy

Beginning with Esri Maps for SharePoint 3.0, we're moving away from the Silverlight-based ArcGIS Map Web Part and focusing on the JavaScript-based Esri Maps Web Part. The Esri Maps Web Part now supports hyperlinks in pop-ups. Please let me know if you have additional questions on this. Katy

Peter & Michael, Esri Maps for SharePoint 3.0.1 (latest released version) is not supported on SharePoint 2007; it is only supported on SharePoint 2010, SharePoint 2013, and now SharePoint Online (part of Office 365). In fact, I don't believe the installer will even let you proceed if you are using anything prior to SharePoint 2010. Also, please note that previous versions of Esri's SharePoint product are not available. Hope that helps, Katy

I'm guessing you are using Internet Explorer? You need to go to the Esri Maps Administration (under Site Settings) and open the Configuration Settings list. In there, set AllowSignInOverHttpProxy to True. Note that this setting will allow sending a password over http instead of https. See our FAQ here: Frequently asked questions—Esri Maps for SharePoint | ArcGIS Katy

Hi Ben, sorry, I thought I had responded to this but it looks like the message was lost in the ether. The data type shouldn't matter. If you'd like to send me your data I can take a look? I think you should be able to send something privately here on GeoNet if necessary. Katy

Hi Ben, Yes, the Location field should have populated after adding it. Could you try removing it and going through the process again? If you are still having trouble, can you detail the steps you went through in a reply to this post? Thanks, Katy

Hi Mary Ellen, Yes, Esri Maps for SharePoint is tied to an AGOL or Portal account. Since you are still in the process of investigating whether it may be a viable solution for you, I would recommend discussing it with your Esri Account representative. They would be the best person to help clarify the requirements and terms of use and how it might fit into your organization. Hope that helps, Katy

Hi Alan, I just double-checked with the team on this: For SharePoint Online the answer is yes as it is based on SharePoint apps exclusively. For SharePoint OnPrem the answer is no. Katy

Hi Chris, I'm not sure if you were able to fix this, but yes, adding the certificate should have done the trick. If you're still having trouble, please go ahead and contact our Esri Support and they should be able to get you up and running. Katy
