After i sketch a polygon with SketchEditor, I need to find out if the shape has intersecting lines, i've used the method "GeometryEngine.IsSimple(geometry)" it seems to work, but sometimes the result of the method is shape not simple even when there are no intersecting lines. Thanks for any advice

i understand, is there a way to load picture as a standalone layer without the rasterlayer? all i need is to place a simple picture on some envelope or polygon, so the picture will be binded to the spatial reference. raster layer requires standard license, i'm trying to do it with the capabilities of lite license. Thanks alot!

Many thanks! only by adding the aux.xml file it solved my problem and added spatial reference, i dont want to show the raster file on real world map, i need it to be a stand alone layer but have spatial reference so i could project graphics on it. Thanks again!

Hi, I need to load local raster file without any geo coordinates, i was able to load the file as raster layer and i see it at maps 0,0. but the spacial reference is empty, can i somehow at runtime add spatial reference to the layer? is there any other way to load raster file without spatial reference and show it on a map with spatial reference? any advice would be apriciated even if its not a trivial or official solution Thanks!

Hi, how can i know which offline local file layers are available under the Lite license and would using the Basic license increase the amount of available local file layers to use? currently i've only been able to use ArcGISTiledLayer (loading TPK file) and MobileMapPackage (loading MMPK).

Hi, I've had same problem with the performance, so i've added a thread timer to the mouse move event. private readonly TimeSpan _timerTimeSpan = TimeSpan.FromMilliseconds(300); Timer _tooltipTimer = new Timer(timerElapsed, null, Timeout.Infinite, Timeout.Infinite); private void MapViewOnMouseMove(object sender, MouseEventArgs e) { _mouseEvent = e; _tooltipTimer.Change(_timerTimeSpan, Timeout.InfiniteTimeSpan); } private void timerElapsed(object state) { ........ } saving the last mouse coordinates and trigger the timer again on every mouse move with 300ms.

Hi, well, the problem was not fixed, it changed. when i try the code with the custom styled Callout, it will show blank white callout without text and without style. when i try the CalloutDefinition it will work at the beginning, and after few popups the UI thread enters a DeadLock and the entire program freezes. seriously, are you testing the code in real life scenarios before you release the SDK ? another issue is we use ArcgisRuntime.LocalServices and the latest version of it is 100.6 it wont work with runtime 100.8 any plans on releasing ArcgisRuntime.LocalServices 100.7/8 ? Thanks!

I'm trying to show tooltip on map using the ShowCalloutAt method, and i ran into problems with it, when i try to style the tooltip a bit i get the following result see the white arrow beside the main tooltip. my code: var callout = new Callout()
{
Background = new SolidColorBrush(Color.FromArgb(255, (byte)51, (byte)51, (byte)51)),
BorderBrush = new SolidColorBrush(Color.FromArgb(255, (byte)102, (byte)102, 102)),
Foreground = Brushes.White,
BorderThickness = new Thickness(1),
Padding = new Thickness(8,3,8,4),
HorizontalContentAlignment = HorizontalAlignment.Left,
VerticalContentAlignment = VerticalAlignment.Center,
Content = calloutAction.Text
};
ArcMapView.ShowCalloutAt(calloutAction.location, callout); the second issue is when i dont use my own style, and use CalloutDefinition: ArcMapView.ShowCalloutAt(calloutAction.location, new CalloutDefinition(calloutAction.Text)); i get the following "bug" sometimes, the popup wont show at all and the text is written to the right of the graphics i'm using 100.6 SDK and the popup is shown on MoveMouse event

I'm trying to implement a feature where the user can group base layers, operational layers and GraphicsOverlays into something like a group layer. but from what i can see only the operational layers collection supports using group layer and base layers collection does not support it, and as far as i see there is no option at all to group several GraphicsOverlays together. is there any thing that i'm missing that can help me implement this feature?
