Thanks Micah. I will google if the state provides any data in UTM.

Because I am not GIS expert, so may be my question a quite basic question in GIS. I am working on Texas area (The whole state) but when I want to use TIN it says it's recommended to use projected coordinate. When I come to find the block or unit of the area using UTM, I found there are three blocks cover the whole state (13, 14, and 15). My question is, which one should I choose to cover the whole state? Thanks in advance

Unfortunately, that's not the whole system, but that's what I am going to do with it although my method should be generalized for any system. Thanks an.

To be honest, I am not familiar with kd tree you mentioned Dan. But, the following image is the exact problem, where I only have the bold-black circle points and the lines between them only; the rest are out of the problem I can clean them later on. I tried to solved by location allocation but I have a problem as you can see from the second image.

I guess this problem is similar to location allocation problem in network analysis buy without considering the line-length as a cost of optimization. I will start with it first.

I am wondering if there is a way to find (and delete) any point from the system that make the whole network without being there two points neighbor to each? For instant, for three points connected to each other either in a series way or as a triangle shape, we can delete two of them to make no neighbor in the system. What about if we have a network similar to the one in the image? Any idea? especially from Dan, Chris, or Xander? Thanks

Thanks Chris, smart thinking. I went through a hard method to do it for each one. Thanks once again.

I used the tool "select by location" and it's solved. Thanks

And I have the point-layers in one layer as well with a field that recognize each type of them.

How can I find those lines that connect only different points as shown in the figure? Using Model Builder. The points are in several layers, each one stands for different level visualized with different colors. However, the lines, are only one layer. Thanks

That is a good question Xander, in that case and for my work, it takes one of them randomly since they have the same weight of connection.

Still not working with me. I know Python is better and faster but I can not switch to it until I can finish my current work with model builder, hopefully soon.

I created the condition using 'get value' with 'statistics summary' but the value can not be read by "select" tool.
