In the web map I configured a custom attribute popup and added a hyperlink with the URL parameter: https://fieldmaps.arcgis.app/?referenceContext=updateFeature&itemID=15bf4c9d6ceb42cb9d1f532c7ec8c6de&featureSourceURL=https://utility.arcgis.com/usrsvcs/servers/e90cc6b160c647dea81c160b5a9d9029/rest/services/Secure/ADMP/FeatureServer/0&featureID={globalId} I looked in Arcade and it looks like it passes the curly brackets with the GlobalID as well. Do you know of an arcade script to remove the curly brackets?

@ColinLawrence Yes, I am able to reach out to support on this. I assume that I should direct this to the Web AppBuilder support team, is that correct? Thank you! Nick

@LiLin1Thank you for your reply. I am trying to go directly from a popup link in web app building using the {globalID} of the feature directly to Field Maps, so I am unable to remove the curly brackets manually for each feature. Nick

Hello, I am trying to open and edit in Field Maps from a Web AppBuilder application and running in some difficulties with the UpdateFeature URL parameter and the GlobalID. In the web application source web map I am using the following URL parameter in the custom attribute popup for a feature service: https://fieldmaps.arcgis.app/?referenceContext=updateFeature&itemID=15bf4c9d6ceb42cb9d1f532c7ec8c6de&featureSourceURL=https://utility.arcgis.com/usrsvcs/servers/e90cc6b160c647dea81c160b5a9d9029/rest/services/Secure/ADMP/FeatureServer/0&featureID={globalId} When it opens in Field Maps, it opens the correct map, but does not open the feature to edit it. In closer inspection of the link that is generated in the web map, it seems to be adding extra characters (in bold below) before and after the GlobalID in the URL: https://fieldmaps.arcgis.app/?referenceContext=updateFeature&itemID=15bf4c9d6ceb42cb9d1f532c7ec8c6de&featureSourceURL=https://utility.arcgis.com/usrsvcs/servers/e90cc6b160c647dea81c160b5a9d9029/rest/services/Secure/ADMP/FeatureServer/0&featureID=%7B85788B3A-4339-43CF-B137-1B11E200A1B2%7D The GlobalID should just be shown as in the URL as: 85788B3A-4339-43CF-B137-1B11E200A1B2 As anyone seen this before and know how to fix this or have a workaround for this type of URL parameter? Thank you for the help! Nick

In my opinion, this needed to happen yesterday! Would be great functionality to have and would save our field users a lot of time.

@HenrietteSkov I am working with tech support regarding my issue with Field Maps detailed above and the support analyst notified be that there a bug logged for a workflow with this Error message. See info below. Hope this might be helpful to you, even thought there isn't another workaround, other than to continue using Collector. #BUG-000139943 In ArcGIS Field Maps, hosted feature layer fails to load when subtypes are added in ArcGIS Pro New Status Medium Severity 5/17/2021 Submitted ArcGIS Field Maps Product 21.1.1 Version 21.1.1 Last Version Reproduced Apple iOS OS Name 8.0x OS Version English - United States - (en-US) OS Locale

@HenrietteSkov I am receiving the same error as you in Field Maps. I have a feature layer with a definition query on a field that is joined from a table in the same service. This works fine in ArcGIS Collector but not in Field Maps. All the fields in my service are visible, so the solution you mentioned did not work for me as well. Have you found any solutions to this issue in Field Maps?

Hello everyone, I have a story map tour setup using an existing feature service which has multiple attachments per feature (see attached). Based on the guidance provided in the March 2021 update, it sounds like up to five attachments are now supported with existing feature services. I have tried all of the different map tour formats and looked for options to enable multiple attachment, but couldn't get it work. Has anyone gotten this to work for them? What do I need to do for the story map to show multiple attachments? Thank you in advanced for the help! Nick

Thank you, David and Owen for you replies. This makes sense to me now, why it works like this. Owen-I would definitely like to have the option to not autoplay the videos and have the user click play. In our use case here, where the the video is basically audio over an image with no visual movement, it's hard for the user to recognize the video is autoplaying and they could missing the artist read their content. So I would prefer to have the user play the video manually. Also, I will take you advice and put in some text to alert the user to unmute the sound. Thanks for the help! Nick

Hello, I am working with a Map Tour block in the StoryMaps builder and I loaded a video from a file (MP4) as my media for one of my tour stops. The video loads in great and the video auto plays (which is perfect), but the video plays without sound because the sound in muted in the video player. Is this by design or is there a way to have the video be unmuted in that block? Our StoryMap has artists reading poems and short stories that they have written for Black History month and I think readers of the StoryMap may not realize the audio is muted as it's currently setup. See attached screenshot of the video in the StoryMap. Also, here is the link to the story (which is in progress): https://storymaps.arcgis.com/stories/c6da83ca3e8e4121ac98efc40a3b14fb. The video is loaded at stop 4 in the map tour. Thank you all for the help. Nick Spittlemeister

Hi Ben, It looks like you are trying to add a feature service to basemap gallery. I don't believe that is possible. If you want to add that layer to the basemap gallery, you will need to publish it as a tile layer or vector tile layer. In Bern's blog post about creating custom basemap gallery, he is using a layer called Carbonate Karst, which is a tile layer. Nick
