Thanks again, Robert, for bailing me out of another one. I hope with all the excellent work you have done in supporting the WAB Dev Community that Jack will at least buy you lunch one day! : )

I have a Print Geoprocessing Service that I use with apps I built in WebApp Builder Developer Edition 2.0. I am using ArcGIS for Server 10.2.2. When I print a map it shows all the layers in the legend. I only need it to show the layers that are visible in the current map extent. In the File Geodatabase that is for the app, there is a Land Use Feature Class. It has 40 Land Use Classes. For example, I open the WebMap, zoom to a location, I only see 4 Land Use Classes visible in the current map extent. So, I print the map, and the legend shows all 40 Land Use Classes when I only want it to show those 4. I have modified the Legend Properties in the MXD I am using for a Print Template to make sure that the box is checked next to "Only Show Classes Visible in the Current Map Extent". But, this does not seem to work as the printout still shows all the classes. I have even separated the classes of the Feature Class in the Project MXD to be separate layers based on a Definition Query. Still get the same results. Any ideas?

This is what I am looking for. Thanks, Rebecca. Looks like a lot of work to try and figure it out, but at least I have a direction to go. I will let you know how it works out.

I am still very much a newby at Javascript and am in the same position as Robert. I just do not have the time. Just thought I would ask out of curiosity. Thank you for the responses.

Robert, thanks for answering my question. I think the widget in its current form will work for me, but I have not had the time to test it yet.

Tim, See this thread where I answered a similar question that would work for this as well: https://community.esri.com/thread/177359

what about for dart theme. I'm trying to increase the size of the icons and the text that shows up when you hover over them. The icons are too small and the text is too small also for the project i'm doing. i've changed the icon size but it appears the icons wrap to the next line and a new scroll bar appears. Is there a way to make them increase in size and go down the line without becoming a icons you have to scroll too?

I won't be able to help you on that. You can share it as a new question in an appropriate space to get the attention of the experts.

I am using WebApp Builder DE 2.0 with the Local Layer Widget. Is it possible set up the Print Widget (or a Print GP) that prints 2 pages: the map on one page, then the 2nd page prints only the Legend? I want to be able to maximize the map space on a printed 8 1/2in x 11in or 11in x 17in paper for our users. Any suggestions?

Tim, Yes this is possible but there is not a widget out there that has this specific functionality. You would need to create a custom widget for this. A starting point might be the Layer Toggle Button Widget Version 2.1 - 08/01/2016 and these threads: Turn On Layers on Widget Start https://community.esri.com/thread/183044-how-to-remove-all-layers-from-a-web-appbuilder-app-dev

I found the answer. The reason why the Legend was empty had to do with the Legend Properties not being set correctly. In my situation, in order to get the Legend Items to appear, I had to set the Legend Properties as follows: I tried all other Legend Property combinations, and the only one that allowed the Legend to appear in a reasonable way, that is not going huge offscreen for example, were these. Keep this in mind if you are using custom mxds as print templates for a custom Print Geoprocessing Service. In my situation, I have a WebMap built in Web Appbuilder Developer Edition 2.0 with dozens of layers in it. It is very difficult to get them to all squish into a legend box. But, the above Legend Properties seemed to make it work.

Rohit, You will want to pay attention to the GeoNet Space you post questions in. This is the Web AppBuilder space and is not appropriate for ArcGIS Pro or Pyton questions.
