Hey. I tried using your script but I keep getting syntax errors on line 12. Any ideas? Would it be possible to get in contact to go over the issue?

'Dispelling old myths (p.32) Just as best practices are updated, there are certain beliefs about the software that are no longer true: Myth: "Windows can only run approximately 250 service instances." (referring to SOC processes) Truth: This is a Windows imposed limitation that can be lifted by changing a setting within the Windows registry. Remember! You must still have enough system resources (memory and CPU) to power all these services. Unless you have at least 50 GB RAM available for running services, you are unlikely to be impacted by this. Reviving this topic a bit... I added a few custom .png icons in my ArcGIS Enterprise WAB app and they all work fine and great in the Header Controller. However, I would like to use the .png images in the About widget so I can explain what each icon indicates. But, the images are stored in the Resources of the app and they seem to require a token to access them outside of the Header Controller. I don't quite understand why they cannot be accessed anywhere in the app. Seems a bit strange. Below is an example of the HTML content I am trying to include in the About widget. The URLs are constructed for where the .png files are located in my ArcGIS Enterprise. If I add '?token=[token]' and use the token for the images in the Header Controller (acquired by using Inspect > copy the whole image URL that includes the token), the images show up, but of course the About widget indicates that they are broken after the token expires. <ul>
<li> <img alt="Base Data" src="https://[root]/portal/sharing/rest/content/items/[itemID]/resources/inConfig/[uniqueName].png" style="width: 20px; height: 20px; margin: 2px; border-radius: 2px; vertical-align: middle" /> Base Data</li>
<li> <img alt="Public Access" src="https://[root]/portal/sharing/rest/content/items/[itemID]/resources/inConfig/[uniqueName].png" style="width: 20px; height: 20px; margin: 2px; border-radius: 2px; vertical-align: middle" /> Public Access</li>
</ul> I do the same thing as above with other icon images in the app, and they work fine with no tokens needed. Any ideas for how I could mitigate for this? I know that I could host the images on a public facing web folder or convert them to Base64, but I'd like to avoid that. Thanks.

Any update on this? I am using WAB Dev 2.25 and it is still an issue for me. I add all my basemaps and custom thumbnails, then randomly they disappear. Molly

Thanks. Unfortunately, my agency mandates ADA compliance and ExB is not there yet. That's why I focus on calcite with ArcGIS JS API, no templates.

Rex, The "turn all layers on" menu option only turns parent layers on it does not alter sublayer visibility.

Hi Tim, > I do not have ArcGIS Pro. Is this required? If not, what do I need? I need to publish not on AGOL, but WAB DE using the LocalLayer Widget. This is not going to be shared with the Public. Yes, ArcGIS Pro is required. It is not included with ArcGIS 10.2.2, but it is part of ArcGIS Desktop 10.3 and later releases. You need ArcGIS Pro to publish/share a scene layer. A scene layer only lives in a "portal" and not in a GIS Server. In the GIS Server, it is called a scene service. It is NOT possible to do this with ArcMap. In order to "store" a scene layer, you will also need to enable either an ArcGIS Online organization, or a Portal for ArcGIS instance with a hosting server configuration and the ArcGIS Data Store. FYI, help topic: Scene services—Documentation | ArcGIS Enterprise Hope this helps,

I tried the following using Attribute Assistant (All methods - Attribute Assistant | ArcGIS Solutions😞 1) Using the Custom Valve Symbols I created per what I mention at the start of this post. 2) I used ANGLE method to obtain a Geographic and Arithmetic Angle for each pipe. 3) Using the INTERSECTING FEATURE method, I transferred the Geographic Angle and Arithmetic Angle to respective fields in the Valves Feature Class. 4) The results were the same. CONCLUSIONS: - If you use custom valve symbols as I illustrated in this post, they will not rotate to orient with the pipelines. You must go through each one and manually rotate them one at a time. - The JUNCTION ROTATE method does not rotate custom valve symbols to orient with the line. - However, if you use the ESRI AMFM Water Valve Symbol, circled in red below, the valves will rotate correctly (But, you must use the JUNCTION_ROTATE method to be successful). - I would not use custom valve symbols unless you want to rotate each one by one. Very tedious if you have hundreds of valves. - Attribute Assistant is AWESOME! very useful despite the problem I found here, which has nothing to do with the Attribute Assistant.

Cancel this. Seems to be a data issue. Attribute Assistant is working good. I had to turn off Attribute Assistant then manually rotate the 52 valves. All is good now.

There used to be a windows exe file called something like "where have all the licenses gone" that I used to use back in 9.x, but I'm not sure if there's a new version. It was really nice because it would give you the pc name for each license being held.

I am trying to rotate sewer taps to line up with sewer lateral lines. They keep rotating to match up with the sewer mains. The only way I can get it to work the way I want is to draw the lateral first then the sewer tap. If I draw the tap first on the main then the lateral it lines up with the main not the lateral. I am using attribute assistant and running the rule manually. Does anyone have any ideas of why this is happening? Thanks in advance
